Oh and on the "Player Development" tab, the veteran player thing means that, if a player has a "veteran(8+ years)" at his position, then that player increases 5 points in the veterans best Offensive, Defensive, Mental, and Physical rating. I had a more complex system for this, but i decided it would be too hard to keep track of. Maybe I should make a blog post for my guide.

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Instead of another post with a bunch of trades I'll do several small ones so they are easier to manage the info about why this could happen in my assoc.
I am at the trade deadline.
The Sixers are terrible and looking to move forward with Thaddeus Young and Evan Turner, they would like to clear some cap space, with that in mind
#1
T'Wolves get:
A. Iguodala
Sixers get:
Beasley
M. Webster
Notes: Beasley is a one year deal, and Webster is a team option, so Philly is clear of they when the season ends. Minnesota it tied with Memphis for the 8th seed and gets a nice upgrade with Iggy over Beasly and Webster for jusr about the same price. This move would keep Williams coming off the bench at the 3 and 4 for another year.
Warriors get:
A. Iguodala
Sixers get:
K. Brown
B. Rush
D. McGuire
Notes: Again all the contracts that Philly gets are 1 year deals, they are not looking for these players to stay or be impact players for them. Warriors get defensive upgrade at the 3 and Iggy would fit well into the up-tempo offense. Warriors are set to make the playoffs no problem, will either be the 5th or 6th seed.
Iguodala did make the all-star team, if you feel that warrants a draft pick or have a good reason for Philly to keep him let me know.Last edited by qpc123; 02-12-2012, 10:45 PM."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

I think either of the trades are good, I would just throw in a '13 first rounder from either team in that deal... Iguodala is pretty goodUpdates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
I'm gonna have to run some Dwight Howard trades, I can't just let him walk, the last thing the Eastern conference needs in my association is another terrible team.Last edited by qpc123; 02-12-2012, 11:14 PM."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

I did, and shot 5/9 with Barnes. 2/2 from 3pt so not sure what you're seeing. In freestyle practice it will be the same there as it would in a game situation for open shots. And I don't see any issues for practice either. I make a good amount of shots. Not 50% or more but I'm in the 40-45% range for mid range jumpers at least.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Ok last trade idea, any package I put together from New Jersey just seemed weak and Orlando wouldn't be competitive, so I looking to move Dwight to the Bulls.
Bulls get:
Howards
Anderson
Turkoglu
Magic get:
Noah
Deng
Gibson
2012 1st rounder and Bobcats protected pick that Bulls have the rights to, so Orlando eventually gets a decent pick out of the deal.
The Bulls aren't playing that well, they are 11.5 games behind Boston and 4th in the conference. They are only 1.5 games ahead of the Pacers in the division.
Orlando is a half game up on New Jersey for the 7th seed, but what good is a 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs if Dwight walks and leaves them with nothing."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
But Ryan isn't going to resign with the Magic if Dwight walks so...
I think it's a pretty fair trade, maybe add another future draft pick from Chicago to Orlando and you'd be good.Comment

I just don't see Anderson a having much value on a team without a legit post threat. I kinda see him and Dwight as a package deal."You come at the King, you best not miss..."Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Then I would add Asik. Anderson doesn't need Howard as he could easily get open on PnR's with a decent PG. Just seems too lopsided me with Bulls getting back 2 of the 3 best Magic playersComment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
@chinatownpwnage Good idea, but Hawks should probably get McRoberts for more frontcourt depth, and LA would probably need to amnesty World Peace for cap space. Maybe Hawks could get World Peace and Reddick. Change LA's 2nd rounder to a 1st. Orlando seems like they don't have enough. I think the trade pretty much depends on how well ATL does, and how high the pick is. In Year 1 of my association, a week before the deadline, I did: Howard, Turkoglu, Wafer for Bynum, World Peace and Steve Blake. Orlando pretty much gets $0.75 on the dolla here, but it's better than letting Mr.Black Magic himself walk. Maybe try a 3 teamer between NJ, ATL, and ORL.Comment
