As a New York Knick fan, IRL there is NO WAY the Knicks trade Lin now. His value to MSG and the Knicks extends beyond the basketball court. The fans would burn MSG down right now if that were to occur. Also, he makes the league minimum which is a favorable contract for the Knicks.

The Knicks are completely done dealing this season, and I believe have found their PG for the future. To take back pieces like Calderon or Bayless or whatever can be found on the Raptors is laughable.Comment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
Okay, apparently I had Lin resign only a one year deal with the Knicks for 3.3 mil... Not sure what my logic was there but oh well lol.
What about this. Eric Gordon definitely wont be resigning in New Orleans in my association.
DeMar Derozan, Ed Davis, Jared Bayliss for Eric Gordon, Tyler Honeycutt (filler player, no minutes is reserved)
Eric Gordon and Jose Calderon to New York for Lin, Shumpert, and Nick Young.
Financially it works in my association. Just a question of whether or not you guys think its fair. Doesn't seem too bad to me, but I'd love to hear all of your thoughtsUpdates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion
See thats where the biggest issue is for me in this...right now NY has (seemingly) a perfect pg to lead them for the next decade a la Nash in PHX, and has good role players at SG (which is all they need to be with that system, especially with Melo at the 3/Stat at the 4)....I just dont see this trade helping NY muchComment

Im in the second year of my association and Jeremy Lin is a 71, Calderon is a 69.
The virtual Jeremy Lin is nowhere near mirroring his real life counterpart, the association was started before the linsanity began.
The Knicks were the five seed and in all honesty arent going to be moving up anytime soon without acquire another legitimate talent/star.
The virtual Knicks would be making out like a bandit in my opinion. Looking at the trade, it almost seem like its the worst for the Raptors. The Hornets are in full rebuilding mode and have their backs against the wall with Gordon ready to bolt. So they will trade him early, take another losing season and be ready to make a serious run two years from now when Drummond reaches his potential as well as the Hornets pick this upcoming year.
I completely get what you guys are saying though. It gets much harder to ask for trade advice as seasons progress because so much changes in even one year.Last edited by bedwardsroy19; 02-24-2012, 12:58 PM.Updates on Twitter: 2KstauffComment

I'd say switch Shump for either Douglas or Walker and you'd have a deal. NO should probably get a pick as well.Comment
