    Re: Bedwardsroy19 30-Team Control Association Guide/Discussion

i am in the first year of the association and chris bosh isn't fitting in well while dwayne wade and lebron james are jelling, is it realistic to trade bosh?

if so, what do yall think of these?

    #1

Andre Miller, Nene to the Heat

    #2
Chris Bosh, Norris Cole to the Pacers
Collison, Hansbrough, 1st (Lotto) to Heat

Gortat and Childress to the Heat

#1 is the best IMO. Nene is a solid PF/C and Miller is a good veteran PG. I don't really like 2. Miami should be trying to win now, not get picks for the future. Hansborough is not an upgrade over Haslem and Collison for Cole isn't worth it IMO. 3 and 4 are okay, but I like #1 best. Not really a fan of 5. Lee and Bosh are too similar. Jump shot, good post game, not known for defense etc... If Bosh doensn't fit in Miami then why would Lee? McGee is interesting, but I don't really like having to take Lewis' contract. Thoronton would be buried on the bench with Wade, LeBron, Battier, ect... and you would be left with no depth in the frontcourt. 9 is probably my second favorite after #1.

with your comments i've narrowed them down to these

        #1
solid trade i agree with you

        #4
it gives the heat a possible very good defender and a solid pg, while the heat get someone with that has a little potential to become a good pg and bosh, i could maybe throw in a 1st to the blazers

        #7
mcgee is someone that doesn't play with the ball and can really develop into a very good defender, and i don't think lewis contract is bad because they are in win now and it is only 2 years. i also prefer 7 over 6 because it gives solid bench in Nick Young, Battier, and Lewis. it also solidifies Chalmers as the starting PG

        #9
so you think bogut for bosh is fair? the only problem is bogut's probable injury problem

do comments change any of your opinions or narrow down any trades?

4 sort of scares me because of the Oden injury concerns. Felton would be a good fit though.

Lewis' contract might not be too bad since Miami will be over the cap anyway. The bench would be solid.

Bogut is a good defender but, like you said, there are some concerns. I don't mind this deal, but I still like Bosh for Nene best.

awesome thanks, now i'm deciding between 1 and 7, i might try rework 7 a little bit, but if i can't come up with something i like, i will do one. I also like the youth mcgee comes with

i gave up on Mcgee cause the contracts just weren't working or it would take too many players

however what to you think about this trade:
              Bosh, Pittman to Bucks
              Bogut, Sanders to Heat

I liked 1 and 5 best, until another poster pointed out that if Bosh didn't fit, then David Lee was probably a bad fit. I think trade one is the best. Miller is an upgrade on Chalmers and gives the Heat a PG they can win right now with (similar to all the folks trading Nash to the Hea) and Nene isn't too much of a downgrade from Bosh and is a better rebounder and offers a bit more of a post up option.

Don't like it much. While Sanders is IMO a better prospect than Pittman, Bogut is horribly injury prone, a ridiculously poor FT shooter, and scores half of what Bosh does. Bogut when healthy is 2/3 of the player Bosh is. Combined with the injury issues and I just don't think the Heat get fair value.

what do you think about a bogut trade because he is a much more defensive player.

also do you think a trade for jordan and bledsoe is possible?

alright thanks for the opinions, do you think there is any way the trade could happen because i want a more defensive minded player, so what if they trade a lotto protected first?

Would anyone suggest conducting weekly practice for all 30 teams? Should I leave it alone altogether even with the team I run with?

Does anyone know if it is possible to sign and trade two players in the same deal ? Like for instance, could Boston trade Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett in the offseason in the same deal? Allen and Garnett are both set to be free agents.

i don't see why not because i believe sign and trades are essentially signing the player but trading them right after. as long is there is cap room and they agree i think its possible

This is the most even one of your trades, but I really don't like it for Denver. Nene plays thee majority of his minutes at the 5, even if he is naturally a 4. Plus, Denver is stacked at the 4 already, even if none of them are as talented as Bosh. Basically they'd end up having to play Mozgov major minutes (big downgrade from Nene) and lose Faried and Harrington's minutes, just for Bosh. If I were Denver's GM, I'd say thanks, but no thanks. Unless of course, you threw in Joel Anthony.

BTW, I see you are targeting Bogut and saying that you want a defensive minded player (I'm assuming at C). What's wrong with Joel Anthony? He might not be worth **** offensively, but he pretty good defensive 5. And personally, I think he fits the Heat well.

Thanks. I'm sure I can find a way to make it work. I'd just never seen it before.

Here are a few trades I'm considering. Any feedback is welcome

                                1. Monta Ellis to UTA for Al Jefferson
The Warriors get a big and clear space at SG for Klay Thompson. The Jazz get scoring on the wings and clear space for Kanter/Favors,

                                2. Josh Smith to BOS for Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen (S&T)
Boston gets younger but is still good enough to compete. The Hawks blow up thier core in an effort to make a title run.

                                3. Wes Johnson to NOH for Trevor Ariza
The Hornets have Danny Granger, Ariza, and Al-Foruq Aminu at SF but only Xavier Henry at SG. They save money and get a young SG in this deal. The T'Wolves are trying to win now and Johnson did not work out. Ariza provides a solid defender at the 3.

                                4. Ed Davis to PHI for Pick 20
Davis is the odd man out in Toronto with Jonas Valanciunas joining the team. Philly is in search of a PF because I will likely amnesty Elton Brand. Davis seems to be a good fit with the 76ers. Toronto doesn't have playing time for Davis and they can use the pick to grab a young PG. The 76ers might need to give more.

                                Do these trades seem fair?
