This is what I don't understand. Why are people that don't even care about this topic posting in it? Just because it's a public forum doesn't mean your opinion needs to be injected into a topic you don't care about. If I see a topic I don't care about, I don't post in it. No need to poke my head in and say "I don't care about (insert subject)." Your non-response to the topic is just as effective, and frankly preferred, in conveying the message you do not care about the topic.

Now that I got that rant out of my system, I sympathize with the OP. I mean, the shoes ARE IN THE GAME. Jordan's piss me off the most I think. Every time they show MJ in some FAKE looking colorway it makes my blood boil, especially with the black/red XI.

While I would love for them to go all out and get the correct shoes for everyone (Olympic Air Force 180's for Barkley, for example), I can accept having fewer shoes as long as they give the players that wear whatever shoes are in the game the correct colors. Those Oly VII's MJ is wearing in that photo are so far off, they should have just made them all white.

I don't have any problem playing on the PC, where the modders are able to put shoes fans want in the game, but 2K has to step it up in this department. I GREATLY appreciate the work by the PC community, but they should not have to do the job 2K should be doing. I mean come on, I have to download a Jordan XI shoe pack just so I can have the correct colorways for a shoe that's already in the game. That is beyond infuriating.

If the mod community has to put Foams in the game because 2K can't work out a licensing deal on them, fine. To me, that's what the mod community is for, to ADD something to a game that fans want, but the developer is unable or unwilling to provide. However, it is NOT the role of the mod community to fix mistakes/inaccuracies that the developer should be taking care of.

They could all run around in chuck taylors if I had a say. As long as there are noticeable improvements in gameplay and online connection I'm happy.That should always have major priority over new sneakers or all these different game modes they over promote.

I would say, "That's lame." laugh, shake my head, then shrug and keep playing. Now if Kobe was dunking from the free throw line or shooting 3pt's left handed, then I'd be carrying a pitchfork.

So based on your time frame I must assume you work in the gaming art industry, and know first hand how long the process takes, also based on your logic fixing 1 shoes take 20 minutes x how many shoes that need to be fixed x how many accessories that need to be fixed x how many hair styles need to be fix x how many faces and bodies need to be fixed x how many people in the crowd need to be fixed see how it all adds up.

I don't need industry experience to know that they wasted time adding shoes like the Air Zoom Huarache 2K5 when no one has worn them since 2006. They could have spent that time fixing shoes that are actually worn by NBA players. I guess it's quantity over quality with 2K.

As a long time member of this board I have seen this issue pop up every year since 2k6.

I don't feel like 2K is intinially ignoring our request for more accurate shoes and more customizable color options etc. I'm really stating to believe it is a coding issue seeing as though 2ks art department captures everything else pretty accurately.

My only issues are with the members who come in and post "this doesn't matter, this isn't dress up etc" everyone is entitled to their own opinion and different issues matter to different gamers. News flash if you don't care about shoes, don't post in a thread about shoes!

Art team works on art, and game play works on game play.

Hopefully next gen 2k gets this right. It's not a game breaker, just an eye sore!

PS.. I pray they fixed the resolution on the in game shoes. They have been poor since 2k9

This is what happens when people get spoiled for too long, they start complaining about minuscule things. People are actually mad over shoe color segways smh ... its the equivalent to a little girl being mad that her Barbie's dress is the wrong color.

Holdup where did you see anybody threatening 2K and harassing they're Twitter in this thread? Nobody in this thread has menitoned anything about that and anybody harassing them on Twitter don't have a damn thing to do with anybody in this thread unless you know for certain the Twitter handles of whoever you "saw" do it on Twitter belong to people in here.

If guys don't like shoes and things like that, it's cool that's your thing but get out of this thread with the name calling and making up ****. Not like people are doing like the Crew guys and overrunning EVERY thread in the forum about shoes.

im more so bothered that we don't have the real colorways. i just don't understand. i know they can't get all shoes because of licensing and stuff but im not seeing the hold up on the colorways.

I applaud the effort to include shoes. I love jays and yes its lame some classics like the iv's, 5's 6's and a few other don't look great in game. I would love to have the OG colorways in and perfectly represented but hell...is it that big of a deal?

They have a ton of shoes in and you can edit any player to have whichever shoes you like. Maybe I don't sweat that stuff because I remember what it was like to play Double Dribble. Damn, I remember when NBA In the Zone came out and I was hype to just see a name on the back of a jersey.

Be happy we get a dope bball game year in and year out.

Yeah, I'm still gonna buy the game, because I love basketball, video games, and NBA 2K. But that doesn't mean I have to love watching star players rocking Payless clearance shoes in NBA 2K (no offense to Payless Shoes).

Its not even a eye sore. Some shoes are generic for a reason which was explained earlier. But it doesn't matter at the end of the day People will buy, the complainers are a very small minority and when you play you are not looking for shoes, you are looking to bust that 17 foot J off a screen set by your Center.. Also since people have been complaining about shoes, colorways, headbands and such for at least the last 7 years and people are still not happy with the shoes, what other way can you let your voices be heard?
