It really sucks that NBA 2K went toward the way of the Casual Gamer. Just as I was getting into basketball too, NBA 2K11 was so awesome and now it is all about Jay-Z and gimmicks.

sim settings aren't that bad, but you can't really play sim online...

I cannot wait until this actually happens. Some of the complaints are so petty that it makes you wonder how you played basketball games in 2005.

And just because you won't be pre-ordering doesn't mean you won't pick up the game. If guys that really felt like they were getting "shafted" would just stop buying the game and move on, I think everyone would be happier in the end. Less complaining on the forums and more discussions on the game and how it can get better.

Pared (I totally get your point but...) at the end of the day its okay to have complaints about the game. Forums were made for this very reason in fact, to allow people to have a voice. Operation Sports is not solely around to prop up sports games I would hope, but to let the publishers know when they epic fail taking ideas as to why they failed from various "complaint" post in the forums. So complain while painful is a neccessary evil unfortunately.

hope not. last year he made it seem like 2k12 was the greatest thing since sliced bread. we know how that turned out.

I disagree. Again, there a good amount of guys that can offer great feedback here. The problem is they are few and far between. They can't avoid the little comments and outlandish reactions to things that are really, in the overall scope of things, trivial.

We all have vices. There are things I absolutely HATE about the game because they get neglected year after year. I still don't go around complaining about it - I use the outlets we have and hope to make a difference. And more often than not - it works.

More of you would realize the developers have no problem reaching out to you if you can conduct yourself with some decorum.

I feel much better about this post than your previous two, and I am glad you aren't upset.

I was never trying to call you out. I wouldn't dream of it. I was merely trying to make my points in the best way that I can. It seems I am not doing a very good job. The "where are these exclusive videos" isn't a call for more videos. It's a rhetorical question which is to say "2k you nixed Czar's videos, and your excuse was because someone wanted exclusive rights. But that someone is not producing videos. Something is fishy here."

I don't think this poster understood the problem. Large game sites and media outlets saw the videos and asked 2k why they -- large and respected companies -- did not get something similar. 2k said crap Czar we got several people crying cause they want exclusives and we can't give that many exclusive videos so to shut them up we are putting an end to our deal.

In shorter terms, 2k nixed Da Czar's videos in order to avoid releasing more videos/material.
