Whats the bug?


Game Freezes whenever I try to play a game. Game freezes at around the "Press X to continue" is about to show up.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

My Career, tried playing Blacktop, game worked fine.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I don't really know. I just changed my hair colour, and BAM! There comes the freeze glitch...

How often can the bug be reproduced?

It happens everytime now. It used to load just fine in the past..

Whats the bug?
In the 4th quarter towards the end of the quarter the animation for 'upcoming games' pops up and freezes the game when the animation is almost finished showing up on the screen. Commentary continues for whatever they were saying and then stops. Even if you wait the game doesn't come back forcing me to restart the ps3.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Happens just about every day, sometimes in the 1st game I'm playing of the day or the 8th. Just depends.

Not yet, I'll take some next time it happens.

I'm not getting VC for the games I predict correct in the real NBA
I was supposed to have received 80 from Friday nights games
and 140 from last night but I've not received them

Game freezes (PS3) as it loads up for an exhibition from the NBA today front page (PHI@NYK). Can still press start to bring up the defensive changes menu, but it doesn't load further to play the game.

Deleted all my settings and game saves and got it to the game finally.

Then after about 2 minutes, the commentary cut off. I quit the game, then it froze again.

MyCareer, All Star game, sims the entire season.

MyCareer, next game is All Star game.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
I played my way up to All Star and I did sim 3 games in the first half of the season, but no where near the All Star Weekend. When I reached the All Star Weekend, I played the Rookie/Sophmore game, Dunk Contest and when I was going to play my next game (All Star Game) - the game sims me to the end of the season.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every single time, only option is to turn off my console, so it dosen't save.

lmfao i look through the whole thread to see if a "2k dev" ever responded to the glitches yall were saying. not one reply EPIC FAIL FOR YOUR THREAD buddy. and yet these same issues are in the game. been out for a month and they cant even get up on these bugs in their RETAIL game. funny ****. 2k once again shows that they are a single A company and not the big leagues

Instead of the commentary cutting off like what someone else said, the thing is that there is this one bug that leads to the freezing.

Following timeouts,commentary will lag behind and stops,leading to long pauses at replays,players not inbounding and freezing when quitting

sorry if mentioned, but when i download a 2k shared roster, when I play a game, it takes 15-20 seconds for the ref to throw the ball in on every time out or when the ball need checked in. Very annoying! on xbox 360.

i was dissapointed in 2k13 when I saw some players doing a 360 spin and halfway through the spin they do a pass, its just not realistic and doesnt look right.

The problem is that everywhere i look, it says that they already released a patch for it, and it dealt with the new xbox's 4gb hard drive but, i have an older xbox with a 60gb hard drive.

Please patch zone defense. Way overpowered. There should be a disadvantage to using zone but there is none. Recovery is too fast, awareness of CPU teammates too much. Just play a game of quick match online. EVERYONE USES ZONE. It's freakin ridiculous. This isn't NCAA people!

Major.
Most people probably think they're glitch is major, but because it's my My Player and I've put all my earnings towards a character that might be handicapped from a glitch... it feels major.

* How did it happen or What did you do to cause it?
Created an All-Around Small Forward taller than 6'8" and once they are 6'9" and above all their dribble moves are visibly less effective, despite ball handling of 95+ and offhand of 85+. By visibly I mean they don't do it as fast, cannot do it fluidly, etc. Noticeably so. If I edit a 6'9" player like Travis Outlaw and give him great ballhandling he can't perform fluid moves, but if I drop him an inch to 6'8" he can. This seems to be clearly a glitch to me and not an intentional game mechanic to hamper taller players. Durant is 6'9" and can handle the ball fluidly.

Yes, with My Career players and created players. If I make a created player that is a SF and 6'9" or taller their attributes are not as effective. In all modes.

Can you recreate it?: No, it's in the game on its own.

During the time I was playing a game with the Timberwolves, I saw Kevin Love get subbed out, and he transformed into a clunky version of his old player model with him not having grown his hair out. I thought the glitch was pretty funny & should be brought to attention.
