You still will for all of those things at any position

Guards usually don't get posted up so the sequence of good shot defense, allow offensive rebound, allow opponent to score doesn't happen to PG and SG

Until the patch im playing CAL and will try with custom sliders tonight when i get off. I recommend anyone play CAL if they are playing an offline career because you can lessen the sing of not enough SP by giving yourself better ratings from the start.

I created an athletic pg with a high dunk rating instead of 50 and I'm loving being able to dunk in traffic from the first game like i would if i was a high draft pick in real life. No rookie showcase, no post game interviews, just straight balling till the patch.

It's hard to really improve my guy too, the amount of credits I earn each game compared to the amount of credits skills and stat increases cost is really out of balance. I know they want us to buy credits with real money but I mean c'mon!

I sugest to try and get VC from some of the alternate methods that have been discussed in other threads. For example, following others, I setup a playffoff game, get it started, turn on coach mode turn off the TV and go about my daily life. When I come back, I get an extra 650 VC that I can use to help build skills for my career player. It's really the best way to advance your player at a reasonable rate if you are not going to buy VC.

Just beat OKC in Game 1 of the Finals. Loving the intro, really gets you hype to play and gives you a sense of the huge stage you're on now.

Kevin Durant is just stupid in this game. It's silly. Makes every contact layup. Just pulls 3's and J's right in defenders' mouth and the net splashes. Works out of the post. Posterized me so disgustingly on the break where his hand was near the top of the glass. Catches oops in the half court surrounded by defenders.

I only won by stopping Westbrook, who starts gunning at times.

Still, I'm less upset by this than I am about Daequan Cook taking and making contested step back 3's and momentum shots. Come on.

Interesting that Westbrook avg'ed more than KD at 31ppg. KD avg'ed 28ppg 9rpg 3apg & 2bpg.

Game rigging starts back again!

I lost half a bar for allowing an offensive rebound and allowing my man to score.

The only problem with that.....I was a SG and it was a free throw(so I was at half court) and the guy who got the rebound and basket, was the C)

And the bottom one is the grade which factors in all aspects of the shot. The top 3 could be green but you could get a D+ if you try a post fade away with a guy who cant do those. The overall grade also factors in things like Cold & Hot Zones as well.

The top 3 were green, bottom is A, yet I still miss...

Is there any way to change the shot stuff. I don't want to play with shot timing, I wanna use real FG%

Just won my first All-Star/Sim. A Home Key Game against Spurs, 118-100. All-Star/Sim is so much better than All-Star/Default. My minutes is back to 36. I don't like playing 40mins. LOL

I'm starting to hate Lillard, Mathews and N.Smith(Currently on Trade Rumor). They don't pass the ball when you ask for it once, you need to ask again before they pass. This is essential on fastbreak. Had a few excessive call for the ball.

Nolan Smith is too freaking aggressive. Takes the ball down the floor and attacks at will. I always cringe when he does that, especially if we're maintaining a lead on 3rd or 4th quarter. And I don't want to ask for the ball too much during games. I hope the management trade him right away. Trade rumor says the Pistons is offering Austin Daye and Blazers like the offer.

Damian Lillard is holding me back. LOL I don't like him taking the spotlight from me! I'm the rising rookie here! Haha! He just got a Player of the Week Award and I'm rookie of the month.

Just restarted my MyCareer. Last time I was a 3pt Specialist SF that had the interviews of Kings(5), Bobcats(2), and Warriors(7). I went to Bobcats and they were terrible lol. Today I made the exact same style n position and got the interviews Kings(5), Bobcats(2), and Raptors(8). I went with the Kings this time in hopes that a lineup of Brooks, Evans,Me, TRob, and Cousins could really take the League by storm.

What attributes should I increase in order to improve my guys crossover abilities and manage to hold onto the ball easier.

I wanna make my guy be someone who can start from the 3pt line, and cross out guys and then drive to the basket for a dunk, but other than dunk rating, don't know what other rating I should increase.

does anybody else find playing as a 5'9 pg in this game difficult especially when they have u playing all positions like lebron. while bigger guys play out of position.

want to create rondo type player b/c that is how i play in real life but its hard when players don't shoot the ball when wide open or pump fake in the lane when nobody is by them to give cpu chance to block shot.

got drafted by mavericks but bout to ask for trade next year or get collison removed he doesn't score he barely averages 1o pts a game.

They do that for my guy too. My guys defense ratings aren't good, and I'm a SF, so what does my coach do....puts my to play C and guard a guy who's half a foot taller than me.

And then he puts me to play PG right after that...

Off Hand Dribbling, Ball Handling and Ball Security.

i know that you can't change the color of your socks to black on away games but i'm wondering if there were certain teams that let you do?

in nba2k11 i was traded to the magic and were able to wear black socks on away games

i know this topic has beaten to death but here it goes

Just wear ankle socks. Then you can't see them.

I wear ankle socks IRL. So i don't understand why anyone would be so upset about it in a video game. regular socks of any length suck. They always make my ankles itch.
