Just a random question, does the hands attribute have anything to do with grabbing boards?

Yeah, I'm like a Derek Rose style PG when I play on MyCareer, but my internet is down and I can't get any VC so grinding my dude up is just way too painful. I decided that until the gameplay patch comes out to fix some of the 3's and the offensive rebounds and I get my internet back, I'll just murder faces with Shaq.

Played one game before I had to go to bed, seriously the most fun I've had.

Shaq and I both had like 30+ points, I had 20 assists and he had 15 rebounds.

Gonna up the difficulty to Superstar next game. lololol

I read somewhere were awareness(both offensively and defensively) helps grab loose balls. Wondering if this applies to boards as well. My vertical is maxed and was just looking for some help. Thanks for the input.

What are some key stats to upgrade, when trying to improve my defense?

I don't care bout blocking or rebound(though I'm GREAT at rebounding, even with the default rebounding rating for my SF), biggest issues I run into on defense is just letting the player score on easy shots.

Steal is one rating I'm thinking about improving. What does on-ball defense do? It says ability to guard/react when defending the ball handler, but how does that really affect the users ability to react to it?

And for signature skills on defense, which would people recommend? Im undecided between Interceptor(level 1), Pick Pocket(level 1) and Active Hands(level 1)

Legend training camps are a scam. Last two times I tried them it took my VC and then froze.

On ball defense affects your ability to stay in front of the ball handler, very important for a SF. I'd probably go with active hands, easier to strip guys on lay-ups and pull-ups.

Dynamic Goal.....Come back within 5pts of opponents. The result...My team came within 6, like 5-10 diff times. Whenever we were about to get within 5, some sort of crazy thing happened, whether it be us missing easy shots, or them making impossible shots.

                  And to top it off...

                  Dwight Howard(Opponent)-33pts,14-15FG!

                    Wow.

I narrowly beat OKC in Game 5, 133-131. For some reason I missed a perfect release FT with 6 seconds left that woulda put me up 3. This after going 11-11 on FT's up till that point.

The reporter musta touched a nerve, asking if we would go hard in Game 6 knowing we have two games at home.

After Cruising through the Spurs and Wolves we hit a wall with the Thunder in the west finals, getting blow out in game one we battled back for a one point win for game two. We dropped game 3 and clawed for a game 4 win only to drop game 5. We had another hard game 6 win and that must have been all the Thunder had, because we ran all over them in game 7 to win the series putting and end to last years rematch.
Getting ready to meet Miami when the PS3 locked up, reboot and off we go.

I agree, I think it's the 1st defensive ability that needs to be upgraded above all else. If it's up to 85-90 and your using LT to intense D it also forces the player your defending to pick up his dribble when he tries to drive.

Can anyone speak to the effectiveness of the Defensive Anchor sig skill? Is it good to have as a PG? I have lvl 2 of this, which gives my teammates a 6pt boost in defensive ratings when I'm on the floor.

It gets so frustrating sometimes how poorly my teammates defend the paint, jumpshots and especially in transition.

I'm planning to purchase lvl 3 of Defensive Anchor. Active Hands seems good to look at too. I'm pretty content with my offensive ability, so I'm looking to significantly strengthen our defense? Any suggestions?

Created a 6'3 3pt specialist sg drafted to the raptors at 8th...is it me or is Kevin durants jumpshot perfect beyond the arc. In 3 games so far I'm shooting 9-10 from deep. I also haven't played a really good defense so Idk if that could be the reason. So far weve played the packers, nets, and twolves

                              Packers? lol

I like Kobe's jumpshot, it is nearly impossible to get a bad shot. It's very forgiving for holding the shot stick too long or not long enough.

Since I plan on starting my real PG once the patch and roster makers are done, I'm debating whether I should alter superstars who are gonna be FAs this summer (ie. Howard and Paul) so it looks like they signed extensions. There's no way CP3 and D12 would leave the bright lights and good teams they're on in L.A. for Detroit or Cleveland.

D12 in CLE would be OK I guess since they need a center. But CP3, as good as he is, is not what CLE needs IRL and, quite frankly, it would annoy the crap outta me to see him in a Cavs jersey unless they traded Kyrie for him (which is unrealistic on a whole nother level)...
