Not sure how you are managing this. I'm playing on all-star and my teammates are horrible. They don't shoot terribly because I assist them a lot of easy buckets, but the other team typically shoots in the high 50s and outrebounds us by 10-20 every game, plus the score off of every turnover. I've been turning in efficient 30 point, 10 assist performances and losing by 15-30 points every game. My team chemistry is in the mid-80s.

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
I am not sure where I weigh in on it being too easy. I play a PF on superstar. It use to be brutal when it was early in the season with the bulls. I am with the Nuggets now and we win by 10 or more every game. Now have a 12 game win streak. Our team chemistry is at a 100% and I have the defensive skill that makes everyone better defensively. The game may be close for a time but it is due to them hitting tough shots. My guy is at 92 now and I shoot around 75 a 80% for the game. The other team started doubling me every time I touch the ball. That just makes it easier for my team to get wide open shots. We feel like the 70 win Bull team.
I will say the opponent shoots worse now than they did earlier in the season. Has to be the chemistry. If they fix the silly offensive rebounding thing the game will get that much easier.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
Houston Rockets
Center 69 OVR
Superstar/Simulation
10 min
33 games into the season and I think I may have hit that point in my season when we start crushing teams that we should have no business winning against. I was playing against the Grizzlies who have a team rating of 86 while we (the rockets) have an OVR of 75 well I was benched at the start of the 2nd qtr and when I was subbed back in we went from a 2 point deficit to a 22 point lead!! And by the end of the 3rd we were crushing them by 30.
I thought this was unfair to the CPU since Z-Bo had only 4 points by then, so I thought no way we're beating the grizzlies this bad, this ain't right... so I restarted the game on HoF and I get benched at the same time and when I was subbed back in, THE SAME THING happened where we magically go up by 20 points!?!? We don't win by 30 like I'm sure we would have had I played out the 1st game on superstar but we still beat them by 11 points.
I'm convinced that the outcomes of games are somewhat predetermined, meaning I could have shot the ball from half court everytime we had possession or just set the controller down and let my opponent score, and I'm pretty sure we would have lost but It seemed as though we would have gotten the win whether I tried or not.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
I just finished playing the last regular season game(in mycareer obviously) before the all star break(its my first season). Don't know if I should continue or not cause of the issue that many people talk about with all star weekend and stuff in myplayer.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
what I did was delete the all star DLC, then used "play next key game" as luckily I had a key game two games after the all star game. Worked for me, as I then played the rest of the season fine to get to the post season.Comment

I got to the Celts, terrible chemistry, losing record. by the end of the season I get the chemistry up to 94% and we are rolling over teams on allstar/sim. then for some reason our team chemistry plummets to 25% (no trades etc). we cant beat anyone for a week entering playoffs.
now we are rolling in the playoffs with 22% chemistry, I had to bump it up to superstar/sim. this game is wacky. I just wish i could tweak shooting % for my team and the opposing AI.
I make sure not to use any offensive sig skills as offense is too easy on every difficulty. I try to get as many defensive ones as I can, even though i am a PG. sig skills are like the only sliders we have, use or do not use floor general and defensive anchor to tweak your AI teammates. take off dimmer if your teammates never miss etc etc...Comment

Something I found interesting is when I check everyone's stats during a game every team member has a green arrow going up. This is why I think it has to do with chemistry. High chemistry results in good morale which results in team wide stat increases.Comment

I decided to start over on MyCareer, because I didn't like the Grizzlies' GM and he was lacking on firing the coach and trading Mike Conley.NFL: Seattle Seahawks

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
In my 2nd season with my Defensive Center (7ft & 255lbs) with the Bucks. We ended up 2nd in the division (54-28) and 4th overall in the Conference. Beat the #5 Pacers 4-1 and fell 3-1 to the #1 Bulls before winning the next 2 and forcing a Game 7, which we lost. We lost a couple of games in the beginning of this year, so I asked my GM to trade for a 3pt specialist, since Dunleavy retired. We got Chase Budinger and so far have been 7-2 since the trade. My guy is an 86 OVR and the 4th in his position. I think they should add regression next year, because what I've seen online looks like your guy never declines once you get his attributes up. I don't see how a mid 30 age player can have the same attributes he did when he was 19-20 years old.
edit: looks like they do regress with age only.....good to hear.Last edited by rynecandy; 11-14-2012, 09:18 PM.Comment
