do you still have to play every key game? can you sim them?

Still have to play every key game. The secret is to go to the Bobcats, they only 2 key games (well at least that's how it was on 2k12) against the Hornets.

Its 3am where im at so I may have missed the obvious but did they take out the ability to play my player with a current nba star? I cant figure it out.

Can i start a new one? if so, how?

Delete my current my career save and start again?

Its quite simple, go the myCareer and select new instead of load.

This game is funny. My player Shawn King in the rookie showcase dropped 20+ points. 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Player of The Game. His position is PG all around. I told Sacramento's GM I wanted to be the greatest of all time with numbers like that why not? Anyways draft day happens They say I have a bad attitude. I end up being drafted 6th to the trailblazers. I've already played 5 games and I am currently 10th In the league avg 20 PPG. My player was robbed of the number 1 pick so now he plays with that chip on his shoulder.

6"10 PF. Got drafted by the Rockets....we could field a five-man PF lineup if the game wanted to. Surprisingly haven't been put in the game at SF, only at PF/C. May end up taking Asik's starting job soon.

While it does have it's problems, i'm actually enjoying MyCareer.

Intentionally bombed the showcase and actually got drafted to my Celtics. My team played downright awful though; finished last in the conference. The GM actually blew up the roster for this year though, which is pretty cool.

Anyone feel like the VC you earn from playing games just isn't quite enough? I'm putting up double-doubles each night with B+/A teammate grades and I still can't seem to compile enough to really improve my overall.

My newest problem is the fact that sometimes your team mates just won't shoot the ball, especially with the big guys in the paint. I'm setting them up with wide open looks and they just pass out to the PG. If it's not that, then you have your PG trying to drive for contested layups and refusing to pass the ball out.

It's definitely better than 2K12, though. I played on the PC and it really seemed like the game would intentionally force you to miss open looks if you were hot. I've had a few instances with this version where the D isn't respecting me from deep and drained 3-4 wide open threes in a row. The best thing i've seen is where they finally recognize it and start the double teams. That's a real step up from previous games.

Every year I try to play this mode but I quickly switch to offline Association mode because of the following issues:

- Cpu teammates are not good especially in offense.
- Cpu teams seem too static offensively and they don't run plays properly.

Can anyone confirm that these issues are fixed this year?Thanks.

Anyone found a way around not being able to make 2 SEPERATE my players on the one xbox 360 profile?

Do you have to do one online and offline? Is that the only way around it?

It's marginally better than last year. Sometimes you'll see a team mate hit you with a perfect pass on the cut or break down the defense for the score. Other times you'll be screaming at the screen to pass/shoot the ball or watch as they jack up threes with hands in their face. It's a give and take, but i'd say that comparative to last year, it's slightly improved.

The play calling issue has not been resolved what so ever. In fact, it;s worse. Unless you're playing the point, PlayVision won't appear on your screen, so you have no idea whether they're actually running a play or just freestyling. It's a huge oversight, big enough that I would think they would address it in an update.

As someone who previously was an exclusively offline association player, it's a better overall experience than last year. It has it's issues, but none that can't be addressed by a patch (hopefully soon). I haven't even touched association much this year because there were almost no changes made. It's become stale to me in the face of the improvements made to MyPlayer.

Thanks for your answer.My concern is about cpu running plays against my team or not.I'm aware of the PG-Play Vision connection.

Just a quick tip. Try your best to complete the dynamic goals if you're struggling. In my experience, they give the most SP/VC.

Got drafted by the Rockets, my biggest gripe is Jeremy Lin does not pass me the ball at all. Other than that it's been a ton of fun

Made an all-around PG ,did ok in the Rookie Showcase, drafted by Memphis, had a good first game with blocks and rebounds but the fun ended their. Since Conley is there they made me play majority of the time SG but I have played SF and PF (I was destroyed against Lebron it was sad). Then my teammates forgot how to play basketball and the rim closed for me about 5 games down and I can't make shots anymore apparently. We lost 5 straight and when we were 2-9 I went to the GM and asked for a trade and was sent to the Heat. Don't know if I'm gonna keep playing with the Heat with no play calling but shouldn't be a problem in Miami but we know how AIs like to play.
