all changes to myplayer is reflected in mycareer.

is anyone elses shoes not changing to team colors by default? and socks are white for away games?

Yeah this is happening to me, its annoying, i hate wearing white socks on the road, while everyone else on my team is wearing black.

I don't mind the shoes that much though. I just create my own colorways on different Jordans.

Ronnie just told me 2k will be addressing the lack of visible Playvision for non-PG players in an upcoming patch.

What is the difference between "I would like to be traded" and "I am demanding a trade!" In GM sitdown's?

Does the first one not trade you if you're selected teams don't want to trade, meaning you won't 100% be shipped out… And the second one will ship you out One way or the other? I am about to demand my second trade and want this one to go a little more smoothly…

Also where do you guys see +3 attribute boosts on certain apparel in the store? I just see generic apparel with no attribute's associated to them…?

Where did you read that? I can't find anything on twitter for it, just about playvision.

I havnt started the mode yet But can someone tell me of the minutes/rotation problem is still in the game.

I mean the problem that once your myPlayer reached superstar level he's playing 40+ minutes a game. Winning by 50 against the bobcats, down 50 against the heat your still in for some *** reason. This made every game terribly long and the reason why I couldn't go well into myPlayer in 12'.


What about the substitutions. This ties in to above but the substitutions were really stupid also. You would subed out at nearly the same time every game AND COME BACK IN LIKE 2 minutes. They took the superstar thing too literally.


Sorry for the rant but if these 2 are still in the game I won't touch myPlayer. Don't make sense

I made a scoring SG and got drafted 6th by the Warriors. I want to start over and make an athletic SG for the Dunk attribute. Can I do this? Also, will I lose the VC I spent on my first player?

Virtual Currency, everything revolves around it. You play a game in any mode you get gold coins, you can use those coins to buy apparel, points for attributes, Sig shots/lay-ups/dunks, Sig Skills and accessories

Completely agree with you. I hope that doesn't happen again. No way someone should average 44 minutes a gsme during the regular season.

I don't know yet; only played 12 games so I'm only up to 31 minutes. The trash minute situations are still in, but not as bad. The AI seems to put the bench in more, but anytime there is "momentum" built up, the starters come back in... even if your ahead by 17 still.

I've had mixed results here. On my Hornet's PG I was always put in at PG, with Rivers and the other PGs put in as SG. It was very nice. With My Raptor's SF, I get put in 90% of the time as SF... with the exception of a period where injuries took out both PF; it was harsh trying to D Dirk with a 6'5" guy, but it does not seem to be like 2k11 or 2k12.

One thing they seem to have fixed so far is the ai players playing proper positions. So far I have not seen a 4 PG + 1C rotation, which I saw a lot in 2k12. So far I'm happy completely here.

I'm surprised that 2k hasn't received more criticism from the VC implementation. In my opinion it has ruined mycareer. I just started a new career, played the rookie showcase and at the end of the game I got the message that my VC was being saved to the 2k servers (another ridiculous idea). The problem was that the message stayed on the screen for 10 plus minutes until I decided to press cancel. I then went through the interview and draft process and went into my first game and finished it. Upon completion same problem again so once again I had to press cancel.

After this I decided to try and upgrade my attributes, I selected one and it said I didn't have enough VC. This seemed weird as I just earned 200 and I thought if I exit the mode it will fix. When I tried to go back into it started at the rookie showcase again.

This whole idea of having to be online to take full advantage of the game is ridiculous, if I try and play offline the game reverts to SP which you can only earn minimal amounts but everything costs more. I personally believe 2K has taken a huge step back this year.
