Got asked for trades so in my 3rd season I really didn't know who I wanted...I know I wanted a better starting PG (Nolan Smith is my current.) Who can also play better D and have a better shot so I picked either J.Bayless or G.Hill. I kind of hope I can get at least that trade and for once some back ups for my team.

Anyone know for sure how the trade logic works in MyCareer? Do the stars mean as much as they do for OA's?

(If so I think this group I picked should hopefully come through)

Ok I'm beginning my 4th season. I ended up resigning with the Hornets for 5 yrs/ 3235 VC...and Andre Drummond is finally in the starting lineup with a 70 OVR (he's 79 originally but was unhappy)...but he's listed as a Star now getting 42 minutes a game. Gonna give him as many touches as possible...

Just got Paul Millsap traded to my team. I requested him since he's a decent improvement to J.J Hickson though he was a nice part of our team...We also traded Luke Babbitt which I didn't like but oh I guess.

I hope another trade can go through because I want T-Mac (Just for the giggles.) And to get Batum traded from my team since he's unhappy and i'm sure we could get a good bench player out of him.

Funny how our next game is against the Jazz too so I'll be feeding Millsap (He was coming off the bench for the Jazz.)

Lol he's rated a 74 & 34 years old. He IS still putting up modest numbers though (11.5ppg, 8.1rpg)

My Rockets team traded Patrick Patterson for Thomas Robinson. I like the trade, even though it sucks I lost PPat(One of my favorite Wildcats) but I got an awesome rebounding Power Forward in return. I need rebounding since Hibbert is soft and only averages 4 RPG.

So after reading around, I changed the difficulty on the game to Superstar\Sim. It's yielded great result, because my character's scoring is more realistic. I'm now averaging 23ppg 8.8rpg and 4.8apg on 47% shooting. Last season, when the difficulty was on Pro\Default, I had 23.8ppg 5.5rpg and 4.6apg on 57% shooting. Overall, I'm having an allstar worthy season and in terms of votes I'm third in the East among forwards, only Melo and Lebron are ahead of me (Lebron is 1mil+ votes ahead while I'm behind Melo by 200k).

However with changing the difficulty, Glaring flaws with the Celtics have been exposed: We lack a deep bench and a third option scorer. Our current record is 11-31 and it doesn't look like it's going to improve anytime soon. For some reason, the GM drafted PF and Centers and let our only other SF--Jeff Green--go into the FA market. We already have Jared Sullinger and Brandon Bass sharing minutes as subs for Josh Smith and Fab Melo coming in for Horford, so drafting two more big men was really useless. Jason Terry is also a shell on his former self as sixth man. Him and Courtney Lee have been quite vocal about wanting to be traded (Terry wanted it done since last season) and I put a good part of our season going the way it's going on them. We have 0% chemistry and its just killing us. 10 straight loses at one point, and we've been swept by the Knicks everytime we faced them this year. I've talked to the GM numerous times about getting rid of Terry and Lee so we can get a better SG to help me and Josh Smith (who's also having a pretty great season), but he doesn't want to listen. It took so much GM talks just to get Terry the **** outta Boston for the Spurs' Danny Green. At this point, I said **** it and demanded a trade. I was Finals MVP last season and currently having too crazy of a season to let it go to waste on a GM who made ****boy draft choices and inability to address our bigger problems. They got me playing 41 minutes with no breaks in the second half and my player can't keep up. By the time I reach nearing the end of the third, I'm completely tired out and all it would take is a good backup to come in for me when we're ahead by a lot so I'm good for the fourth. Unsurprisingly, no team had interest in me (Only a sophomore on a team with a ****ty record), but I told the GM I was interested in the T.Wolves, the Grizzlies, and the Bulls. I wanted to stay and build a dynasty with the C's, but I couldnt fade dealing with the GM's ****. Doc Rivers will prolly be fired after this season and its not even his fault.

I also have a question: How do you avoid being pushed around when running along the baseline. My speed and quickness are both at 90, yet everytime I see myself getting knocked around when running. Other SF's seem to have no problem getting around though. Is it that I'm not using the right stick correctly or what?

Wow so after winning game 6 easy. Game 7 goes to overtime and ends with rose trying to win it with a 3 and misses. Hornets are champions!!!

Damn this was a tough season and even harder playoffs without JR Smith.

In off season we didn't get a SF but we did get bosh.

Staged 2 come from behind victories, down 3-0 in the series, as the Raptors in the 2016 playoffs.

First comeback was against Detroit, where some 50 point performances in games 4 and 5 helped give my team some momentum.


Then it was against the 76ers. In Game 4 I was down by 1 with the last shot, and I drew the double team and hit DeMar Derozan who hit a 17 footer with 1 second left to keep us alive.

Then magic happened in Game 5. One of those games where things just clicked. Seemed everything my guy put up went in, and double teams just couldn't react fast enough. Scorched them for 80! (!!!!) including 13 3-pointers (My 3-pt was only 85, but with Microwave I spent pretty much the entire game on fire). Was a blow out win that showed we had broken the 76ers. Holiday just wasn't the same.

In the end, we forced the Thunder to 6 games before losing in the finals. My guy vowed to never lose in the finals again.

Then it was "Spend my 18k VC I acquired" time. Went from 88 overall to 97 overall (although, paradoxically, I am finding I am defended so much tighter now that I don't have as much success... >.< )

That's funny, the Hornets traded for J.R. Smith in My Career as well.

Just won my first MVP award in my third season. I should have won it last year, but the voters were still riding Bron Bron.

Just my luck though, last game of the season James Harden got hurt AGAIN and is out 2-4 weeks with a broken finger. The past three years he has gotten hurt before or during the playoffs and I lose. I'm now down 1-3 against the Nuggets in the first round. I just don't have enough firepower when he goes out to compete.

I feel like Lebron, I've accomplished everything but can't seem to get over the hump and win a championship...

Aminu works really well for me. He is a great slasher and moves well in transition. I'm in my 4th season and he's gotten to where he knocks down the open 3 as well. My line up is

I'm telling u between Aminu, Davis, Drummond, and (occasionally) Gordon, its like Lob City 2.0. Anderson is coming off the bench leading the league in 3pt%...

How many games in does the GM ask you to for trade suggestions. Because I want Jarret Jack off my team.

Each situation is different. My Toronto team (4-17) asked me twice so far, and actually went out and traded for Javale McGee after about 5 games played. My Laker team waited until 1 week before the trade deadline to ask me and failed to trade for anyone I asked for.

So far, the Raptor season is very interesting; after picking up McGee, he starts with Amur Johnson and the Lithuanian guy switching at PF and Bargnani(sp) the guy coming off the bench ... I am hoping if the Raptors do trade for a second player this season they get rid of Bargnani because he is a momentum killer right now.
