Just finished playing a game! Woo The cavs beat me crazy! 117-97.

Our main Center, Greg Oden got hurt so our primary big man got hurt and we had to use Chris Kaman who isn't that great of a rebounder, but will do.

What's surprising about this game is that after I got a message saying that I was going to be traded. I never asked for a trade! I wanted to stay @ the Mavs and maybe stay there.

What is up? Did anyone ever have this? (BTW, 2nd season with Mavs, CP3 is at the cavaliers..???)

Yeah it happens, not sure why it does but I don't think you will ever be traded unless you ask for it (Or maybe you agree with the trade rumor, then it may happen but i'm not sure.)

I think it's just to perk you up and see something different in the headlines for once so don't worry about it. Or if you are worried go to the GM and just sweet talk him lol.

And why does CP3 go to the Cavs for everyone? He went to the pistons for mine but it seems like he's programmed to go to certain teams in MyCareer.

Like in my My player for 2k12, and even OA's Tony Parker ALWAYS ended up on the Pacers.

I swear to god some players are programmed. I played assocation mode and tried my hardest to get CP3 but he always declines it on me. And I don't know why but LBJ goes to the Lakers all the time or he just stays in Miami.

I've seen Lebron go to the Suns before. I've also seen him sign with Houston. CP3 has went to Houston and Detroit a couple times, but the majority of the time it's Cleveland.

Dwight is everywhere. I've seen him go to Detroit, Houston, Phoenix, Minnesota, and currently in my Career, Portland.

Who are still in their rookie season?

Am I the only one who don’t want to upgrade their player’s signature skill to level 2 or 3 and just wait for the next season? And would also like to lose in the playoffs so to have a revenge in the upcoming seasons? Although I doubt that I could be able to win or even get to the finals. My overall is already 90 but still lot of room for improvement but I don’t want to get to 99, I’m just going to target 96 at max, maybe.

I’m still in my rookie season 58 games played and I could not wait to get to the playoffs to experience more intense games. I’m playing all games so I could feel that it’s my own stats, my own failures or success, my decisions on the court, having a bad game or being the factor of the win, being an spectator of my teammates doing their thing or me taking the critical shots and everything that would make me feel I’m in the game. I’m loving this game, and this thread.

I have played many many many games and never been injured. Hell I never seen an in game injury yet. I wish I would. Idk what I have to do.

50? Dang, how can you score 50 in the Rookie Showcase game? I think the most I scored was 20 something with 10 assists.

The two times I got drafted 1st I was a PG on one and a SG on another. I just controlled the ball at all times with them, and on D, I owned Lilliard(sp) ... in the showcase for some reason it is quite easy to steal/intercept/block/strip Lillard and get fast break dunk/layups.

I think at the half of my PG I had 35pts and the rest of the Elites had 2pts.

I actually got picked first pretty soon after I made those posts. I think my stat line was 35 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, 1 block, with 0 turnovers. Points seem to be one of the biggest factors of going first. I also told the Bobcats + Wizards I didn't want to play for them. I think that helped.

That is great! I somehow always blow the interviews - even when I think I do great, I end up screwing myself. Which is most likely why I needed more points then others to get the #1 pick.

The hardest thing for me was to get the Toronto Raptors to pick me. Finally got them to do so, but it must have taken 10+ tries. The Raptor season is mt most fun season so far.

As a Center, how can I improve my post game? I'm not good in posting up. Most of the time when I'm posted up I will just drive baseline/to key or do hopstep, but sometimes the defender strips the ball away. So for me to score really is to bet on hook shots or the up-and-under cheese. I have 85 Low Post Offense btw.
Also, for some strange reason, even though I have 85 post-fadeaway, I'm simply not making them. When I attempt a post fadeaway, the shot feedback shows all green but gave me a C+/B- shot selection. Why is it so? I'm thinking of changing my post fadeaway animation but I haven't got to doing that yet.

I have post fadaway on 60 only, but since equipping Post Proficiency I have yet to miss a single shot (5 games played with it so far). Same for Post Hook, btw. Post Proficiency seems pretty OP to me.

I already have a myCareer with an athletic PG but is it possible to have a second and use VC in both? So I don't have to delete my PG?

Yes. The most you can have is 3 (MyCareer/Association).

My game freezes during a GM meeting when I try to extend my contract with the team. I thought this was fixed during the last patch. Does anyone experience the same problem or know a way to get around it? I play on xbox btw. Thanks in advance to those who will reply to my question

Yes. The most you can have is 3 (MyCareer/Association).

How is playing as a PF or Center what style is better? Have anybody use rebounding style?? And what skill y'all recommend??

I play as a 7"2 Faceup Centre. My Post Fadeaway is 75. The fadeway is always a tough shot, even more so if you do it from the post. Unless you're Dirk Nowitzki, or you're close to the basket, you won't make it. What's your Shot Inside, Close and Medium? Also, for best effects, post up in a triple threat position, give a drive fake or two, and then spin out towards your ball hand side. You playing on PC, PS3, or Xbox? Message me if you need more help.
