do you guys call for the ball or let the cpu pass you the ball ?

I usually just run what the play was designed to do.

The only time I'll call for the ball is when I have a mismatch or when I'm wide open.

Here is my 1st report on my Toronto Raptor Campaign. ( SS/Sim, PG)

Toronto Raptors 2013: Team Motto: 3K or Bust! - I figure we'll make the playoffs by the year 3000.

You do realize that year 3000 is 987 years away from 2013 right? Unless your player is a vampire or something he probably wont live that long lol

Redid mycareer as a PG still. Got drafted 1st! Did it without an A+ rating and didnt even get a double double

I have 85 for all Shot Inside, Close and Medium. I play on PC.

Then first, if you want to hit fadeaways, make sure your fadeaway animation is Kobe Bryant's. You get great separation, it's a relatively quick release, and if you're tall, it's impossible to block. For normal jumpshot, take Tim Duncan. I used to use Kevin Garnett, and while his J gets better arc and looks better, it takes too long to release, and the defender can contest the shot. So take a jumpshot with a quicker release like Tim Duncan. I like to get the ball in close-mid rang along the baseline in triple threat, faceup, and fadeaway. Improve your post fadeaway stats as well. And message me if you need more help, I don't want to check through multiple pages.

The Post: Even when you are early in a career you should be able to dominate on the block. Heck, when I play pg I take my guy down there because of how easy it is to score. How to do it: NEVER do a full move until your stills are up. Instead, go to the block and get into position with the ball. Start a post move. As you go half way stop the action (let up on the stick) and then start it up again immediately. I shoot around 70% in the post. Doing fadeaways and such put you at the mercy of the game code.

You sell your soul to get BRUSIER up to level 3 as fast as you can. Once up, your team will almost never lose. It is actually quite broken. As a big man with this skill....I basically dominate every single player I go against. LeBron...Durant...Anthony...it does not matter. The first or second time I back them down in the post you will see the Gatorade cup show up under their guy. This happens in the first min or two in every game on HoF level. They I play average def on them because they will be clanking everything. As this is happening I running into everyone on the other team using picks or trying to get switched onto them. On average, on Simulation/HoF...the opponent shoots around 38% from the field.

Also, because BRUISER gases the other guy so fast he starts to get really REALLY SLOW. THEN I make LeBron look really bad. I am 34-2 with the Bobcats, we win by an average of 24 pts (10 min qtrs...again..HoF). Mind you, this is my rookie season but I average (played every game..will sim when stats are higher): 25 ppg/15.6 rpg/8 apg/2.5 tpg/31 mpg. Don't ask about steals or blocks as I have never figured out this stupid game with those so I just play good defense.

Not trying to brag. Just pointing out what anyone can do having the BRUSIER skill even in your rookie year.

I have Gatorade Prime Pack (never letting that go), Scrapper, Brick Wall (I love the pick and roll/ pick and pop), Hustle Points, and Chasedown Artist (biggest waste of skill points ever). 7"2 Centre with maxed out rebound, block, steal, and offensive/defensive awareness. Would love bruiser, but EXPENSIVE. Was going for either Post proficiency or posterizer.

Now in my 4th year with my pg. Last year was on the Lakers and we didnt make the playoffs, had one of the worst teams in the league best teammate was the declining Gasol. In the offseason signed with the kings, its the best decision i ive made the team is stacked, playing with trob and cousins is great they are beasts in the paint. Had a record of 30-5 gm aske me who i wanted to trade for, since we really didnt have a good sf(evans was playing out of position there) i asked for 5 sf. i wanted to get kidd-gilcrisht but i was too afraid they might trade trob for him so we ended up getting granger for fredette and jason thompson.

Of course you are correct. It is just when Detroit goes on a 15-0 run and there is nothing I can do that will stop it, I swear it feels like my team will need 987 years to make any improvements!

Questions for the PC players, please answer!

1. How come shoes don't have bonus this year? Last year there was a bonus like +4 dunk, +3 quickness etc. Console gamers have this luxury, why don't we? Or am I wrong and I haven't found it yet?
2. Is nba2k.com broken? I have bought the game, NBA Today gets updated every day but when I log into the site I can't see a thing! My last achievement appears from 30th of November.
3. Why oh why can't I earn VC?

And one general question. I have 90 dunk and I still have the same dunk packages I had from the beginning. Is buying sig dunks the only way to ge new ones?

Anyone else is freaking out playing for the 76ers?
I'm a PG playing SG and Holiday, Turner, Wayns,... are nothing but playground players.
HOliday never defends, I'm always between 2 opponents because he's not doing his defensive job.
Bynum is awful under the rim defensively, he does nothing (Young=same thing)

I'm nearly in march so it's over for a trade, but I'll definitely leave this team for next year.

The problem is it's my first career so maybe it's as good as I can have, but I'm quite disappointed in some players.
Nick Young is terrific, for sure (damn that shoot he has).
T. Young is very good too and makes passes.
But the others are playing like I'm not here. They have great stats for some (Holiday for example), but just ignore me.

I've seen a 76ers game 2 days ago and looked closely a player like Holiday, and man he is not the same in the game!

The problem is it's my first career so maybe it's as good as I can have, but I'm quite disappointed in some players...

What is your team chemistry at? It sounds like it is low. I have the same issues with a few players on my team, even with my chemistry at 73... if I give the ball to Jose Calderon, he will, no matter the situation, try to score.

Once chemistry gets higher, your team members would normally give you the ball more and play better D. You really need to make sure they get their touches and are involved as well; neglect your teammates, by playing hero ball, and the game punishes you. Especially when playing on higher difficulty levels.
