I know that was a huge issue in 2K12. But trades rarely occur in my MyCareer in 2K13

If you are willing to lose a lot, and ask for attainable people, over 82 games you can get many people. My GM traded for:

1. Chase Budinger
2. Javalle McGee
3. Thomas Robinson
4. Derick Favors
5. Michael Kidd-Gilcrest

So now we have 3 of the top 10 draft picks on the roster, not including me.



Losing so many games got old very quickly, but if we keep this roster, we should be very good in a few years.

I haven't really played this game at all and I just started a MyCareer and its been so much fun lol.

i enjoy playing it. i got drafted by the Celtics as a PG. (Bucks interviewed me so I was hoping to go there) then after not getting any playing time behind Rondo, I asked to be traded to the Bucks or I picked OKC and Miami to try and get on a Finals team. Got traded and OKC gave up Westbrook so now I came to a 8-11 Thunder team and won the starting job after a few games and I'm now averaging 16.3 ppg, 8.9 apg, 1.9 stl. We've gotten the record up to 24-13.

What do you guys play sim or default?

I just do default.

I did go to sim at one point though in hopes of getting more foul calls since I drive to the basket a lot. First few games were good, got 8-10 FT's a game, but then after another few it just turned into my team getting players fouled out (2 a game at least.) I was getting like 2-4 FT's a game so it wasn't worth my while.

Not to mention my team has struggled bad with rebounding so it lead to many and 1's.

With asking for trades from the GM, the only improvements I would want are to be able to recommend who you want traded from your team/give a couple of players on your team who you really don't want traded and to be able to select less than 5 players as trade targets.

For example, in my pass first PG career I am starting PG on the Raptors. This means that Kyle Lowry is starting at SG, and with me at 6'2 and him at 6'0 that gives us a really short backcourt. So when I got to suggest trade targets I decided that my number 1 would be J-Smoove (I have the ooper sig and with J-Smoove, DeRozan and Gay there would be oops everywhere). If I would have been able to suggest who I want traded or limit my trade targets to just him it potentially would have happened as a Kyle Lowry for J-Smoove trade is close (add in picks and you're set). But because I couldn't we ended up trading away JV for Drummond, which upsets me because JV was solid.

A lil mad i was projected to go 4th. To the kings ended up sliding all the way doqn to 8th in Toronto doesnt rlly matter though because all ima about to do is get traded to the bulls this is my first time making a sg and since that is the position my bulls need of course i will be going there to help my team win number 7 cant wait to play these 5 games then get traded bulls here i come

Grizzlies win game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Clippers behind the Cobra's triple double (again). 42 points, 14 reb, 15 ast for the Cobra, and Rudy Gay, still with the Grizzlies, added 23 pts to lead to a 122-118 win. Reporters asked The Cobra about his recent play and he said, "This team is a train and I'm the conductor. We aren't stopping until we reach the Finals and win." In the east, the 1 seeded Heat lead the 3 seeded Sixers 1-0, so as the number 4 seed, we are guaranteed not to have home court advantage in the Finals if we get that far. Game 2 of my series will be played later today or tomorrow, and it will be in Memphis, the new Loud City.

I haven't seen or heard of anywhere close to that many trades. Did your gm just do that on his own or did you go to them gm and request a bunch of those players to target?

I requested nothing. The first trade was for Rubio, then Gallinari. We were second in the west and I guess the GM thought we needed an extra player to help us get over the edge, so we got Nowitzki and Okafor. This year I was really upset when we traded Dirk and Gallinari, but so be it. We are having an incredible year anyway.

I figured out a go to play that is almost automatic for a good guard that can shoot at least. Quick dribble to baseline then cross over, step back, take a fadeaway. Creates space and goes in most of the time as long as you don't try to do it every play.

You'll have to wait more than 5 games. You don't get traded immediately after you make a request. It might take another 2-3 games.

I wanna get drafted to the cavs or number 1 as an athletic sg, but I legit think its impossible. I got 32 pts, 10rb 10asts 1 stl 1 blk, but went #3 and got interviewed by the wizards, raptors, and sac. Someone wanna help on what I need to do to get drafted number 1 as an athletic sg or get drafted to the cavs. I've done the showcase and put up great numbers every time but never interviewed by cavs or hornets unless the hornets want me no10

I am now ready to start working on a roster designed for use with MyCareer.

One thing that is going to be different from the default rosters is the number of sig skills - they are going to be a lot more scarce, and players will not have multiples, except for a very few exceptions such as Chris Paul having both Dimer and Floor General.

I also expect that the attributes will be lower on the majority of my roster players, focusing on limiting offensive ability more then any other.

It will be interesting; I plan on using REDitor or another tool to "reattach" injuries to players once I begin the season. Players like Derrick Rose and Andrew Bynum will be injured starting the season and so players like Kurk Hinrich(sp) and Stephen Hawes will play bigger roles on their teams as they have irl.

What is your teammate grade during these games? And how are you answering your interview questions? What is the highest team you have interviewed with (in terms of highest draft pick, 2,3,4?)?
