do you think they will ever give us good teammates? I had a triple double in my 5th game and we still lost by 20 points

Thats what i hate about 2K13...The CPU plays ZERO defense..I always have to go on a scoring rampage against good teams just to keep the score close

so far im liking this MyCareer mode in 2k13. I am not even an avid fan of NBA...hahahah..

Anyhow, just want to ask some questions:

1. As a rookie, my contract is only for 2 years - if I decide to go on FA after the contract, what should i do? is there an option to re-sign or even negotiate your price at the end?

2. How long is this MyCareer?

3. Is the progression of your player realistic?

4. Do i really need to be connected to Live to play my mycareer? Coz im going to give up my Live since Im getting the PS4

5. After 10 games, I am now playing in the 1st 5 of my team and not as 6th man - do you get back to being the 6th man? how to avoid this?

6. Can you still change your "appearance" like having a new tatoo or new hair-do?

7. With you talk to the GM - have you tried "bashing" your coach or even a teammate? what happens? have you asked for a trade, what happen next?

4.you need to be connected to the 2K servers or your VC will turn in to skill points instead and you will have to start a new myCAREER if you want VC again

5.play good and go for A+ team grades every game and you'll get more and more minutes

6.if you wanna change your players look just edit him in the myplayer section in the home page

7.I bashed my coach and got him fired...I got a teammate traded too..the GM will favor your comments if you're a popular player..if you ask to be traded they will...however theres no guarantee that you'll go to the team you want...and you'll get traded for a player of equal value so be careful there cuz you could lose a potential all star teammate

Cool..... i envy you guys who played this mode early. Im a big fan of NHL...but so disappointed with EA's too many unrealistic things going on that is not my taste.

Just won my second championship I a row with the kings. Beat the 76ers in 6 games.

LOL no the ai doesnt bargain.

VC is what you use to buy stuff with, you can buy clothes(though there incredibly expensive) and you use vc to upgrade your attributes(the things that make you a better player) no other way to get better except for using vc to hieghten your attributes.

and when you talk to the gm about your coach the gm gives you the choice of either motivating him to do better or firing him, when that happens you don't get to pick a new coach though. But if you play too many minutes just choose the option "I like playing with a particular player" when you talk to the gm. It will give some of your minutes to someone else. But you will eventually gain them back, so every time the option comes up, choose it if you want to keep your minutes down.

Remember ai logic is poor in this game, and as you get better it seems your team relies on you more i.e. they play less defense and make dumb mistakes on offense. Fortunately this doesn't seem to happen as much as when the game first came out(guess they made an update for it or something, i dunno)

And about going into free agency. Some teams will strait up ask you to be there go to guy when you do go into free agency. It happened to me and now im the go to guy on the lakers, and have been for the last 4 seasons.

Beat the Warriors 4-1 in the first round, then swept the Timberwolves in the 2nd Round, key gamed the Western Finals and found us to be down 1-3 to the Nuggets, starting SF Loul Deng and starting C Thomas Robinson were both injured so that explains why we were down.. Fought hard but found ourselves down 18 In the 3rd Quarter, "I got a we're not f'n losing" mentality, I switched the defense from Man-to-Man to a 2-3 Zone and that turned it around, we jumped back in the game and forced O/T, and we won in O/T led by my 59 Points/19 Assists.. Now to Game 6 in Denver then hopefully back home for Game 7 in Houston..

During a game, there was a play set for me...and i said what play???? How do you know what to do when it pops up again? Is there a way you could ask for play for you or just a random?

it should show you where to stand and where to go. You might have to go to gameplay setting on mycareer and change show plays to full. that way it'll show you where to go. the bright blue circle shows you where to stand, and arrow with dotted lines shows you where to pass, the solid dark blue arrow shows you where to run to, and the line with a rectangle at the end means set a screen. and yea, plays are at random.

Hey, first post here. My player is a 99 overall pg for the trail blazers. I am in the playoffs in my rookie year. My question is how many players would be traded for me if I demanded a trade to the hawks next season. If me getting traded to the hawks gets rid of all their good players, otherwise I'll just wait till my contract ends.

Someone please help! My dude is a PG with an 86 overall, but when I go into a game and check his player card ratings in game, he's just a 79 overall, and almost all his ratings are around 5 points lower than they should be. WHY?!

If me getting traded to the hawks gets rid of all their good players, otherwise I'll just wait till my contract ends.

You would get traded for their best player given your 99 rating...probably j smoove and someone else...plus Jeff teague is on the hawks so you would probably get moved to SG a lot...my SF player was a 99 and I demanded a trade to the Lakers so I could play with Kobe...problem was they traded Kobe and Jodie Meeks for me and a 2nd round draft pick

My Center scored 21 points, had 9 rebounds, 3 blocks with 75 FG%. I also got A+ Teammate Grade, but I went 6th :/

Ya its you basically have to get a triple double and A+ grade to go number 1 overall. It sucks
