Hi guys.

I know this thread is strictly for NBA 2K13 MyCareer, but I don't know where else to turn to for help on NBA 2K12 MyPlayer since that thread is no longer active.

I'm on PS3 and I recently deleted the last (June/July 2012) 2KSports official Living Roster file from my console by accident while on spring cleaning. To make matter worse, I don't have any other roster file saved in my PS3. Now I realise Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker and other rookies are no longer in my NBA 2K12 default roster.

Though I like NBA 2K13 and play the game a lot, I still go back playing NBA 2K12 for nostalgic reasons, starting new careers just for fun. But it isn't that fun any more with guys like Kyrie and Kemba no longer there.

Can someone help me? May be by e-mailing me the last (June/July 2012) 2KSports official Living Roster file? Or any way to get the file online?

Thanks in advance to any one who is willing to lend a helping hand.

Try Googling it, I'm pretty sure you can find the roster somewhere.

Thanks a lot for the swift reply.

I have tried Google but most downloads are either for PC or require me to disclose personal information, which I'm not willing to do for security reasons.

It would be great if I can get this last (June/July 2012) 2KSports official Living Roster file for NBA 2K12 without strings attached, and that's why I turned to this thread hoping to get help from fellow gamers.

About 12 games into my second All-Around Center season it seems like I got shut out as a big part of the offense compared to the previous year. My teammates rush down the court and score or miss and I'm getting very few touches. On top of that, The Center that guards me is now in my face all the time and it keeps me from driving or getting an open shot.

I created a new "pg" myCareer last week. I was drafted 16th (i think) by Dallas. I played my 12th game and happy that I'm playing as starter. I just noticed that even Dirk or VC although i passed to them and they are free to shoot the ball (they are in the paint) but sometimes the passed to another guy...messing up my beautiful assist.

Im trying to make my "pg" like Magic with awesome passing and a deadly 3-point and midrange shooter. Sometimes, I feel that i was robbed in my assist stats because of this player not shooting though they are free...or missed the open shot.

By the way, I did not adjust any sliders from default (playing PRO).

Does anyone know when they get they're second signature shoe? My first one is glitched with no Nike+ replay, and I think they're pretty ugly, lol. And does anyone know if its like 2k12 in that you can make as many shoes as you want for the second endorsement?

Well I decided start the Albino Rhino Magnus Kane's career over as a Bull even though I had a year with the Thunder where we won it all and Magnus got the MVP and shoe. Now all three of My Careers are with the Bulls.

There are a couple of things I do to the rosters of each team before starting a MyCareer campaign.

1: Give the top 2-3 stars on each team a No-Trade clause in their contract. On the Lakers, this would be: Nash, Howard and Bryant. This does not always work but normally does.

2: Give those stars multi-year contracts if they do not have them. One of the most annoying things about MyCareer for me, is to see Chris Paul and Dwight Howard take deals with new teams (usually Cleveland and Detroit respectively) after the first season. For whatever reason, 2k has made the loyalty of certain superstars really low; I usually make the contracts poison-pill types of contracts as well, to discourage trades involving these players.

I do this for the team's stars, or those I feel would likely never leave the teams they are with. There is a balance to strike so your league will still have some player-movement, but not the head scratchers that the AI will sometimes do on its own.

I hope that next year, 2K will have an invisible "Franchise Player" flag that could be active on a player for players like Kobe who almost in any circumstance would not be moved from their team.

Does saying yes to players no trade clause on their contract prevents trade from happening in my career mode?

1. Where and how do I get the sports-eyeglasses like that of Amare Stoudamire?

2. Playing offline (not connected to LIVE), my camera setting keep changing every game (going back to the default...instead to my setting), where can I adjust this so I dont have to do it every start of the game?

3. I'm now playing as PG starter and my coach (NOL) is hanging me to dry most of the time. I see that when the team is winning big, he will pull out all the starters but leaving me even with gatorade icon on my player. Is there a way that my coach will pull me out as well?

4. Your conversation with the GM - is there an effect in your teammates, coach or to your character?

Most on here that have seen any of my posts about MyCareer know that I don't like it because of how unrealistically easy it is to do anything. Well, I decided I wanted to try out MyCareer for one last time and I created a 6'4" slashing shooting guard. It's actually pretty hard playing with him. He had an average mid game at best, barely any three pointer skill at all, is very small compared to others so he has a hard time getting past defenders, can't finish well, and also plays not very good defense. There is a ton to work on, but because I don't score often I can actually enjoy doing it and learn from it. I did OK at the showcase, and could have went fifth to the Suns (this is with very updated rosters), but they passed and so did the Pistons at eight, so I ended up going to the Timberwolves with the ninth pick in the draft. We started out hot going 4-1 before losing Kevin Love to injury for 2-4 weeks and went on a four game losing streak to put us at 4-5. Nikola Pekovic has been beasting; he's averaging around 24 points and 9 rebounds, Rubio always seems to find the right guy, and Kevin Love can shoot lights out. My only complaint team-wise is Kevin Martin is not doing so well, missing open mid rangers and threes, but others have stepped up so it can be overlooked. My only complaint MyCareer wise is that I'm getting too many minutes. I've only played 9 I impressive games, yet I got 24 minutes a game coming at me. Overall, though, its not too bad especially considering Association got kind of boring for me.

Wrapped up year three (got my average amount of points and fouled out because i really didn't care for the season) and this game gets out of control fast. Brandon Jennings is MVP, the ROY is a big man who averaged 3 pts and 2,5 rebounds and Dwight won DPOY with his team having one of the worst defenses in the league.

I started a 6'10" 225lb Scoring SF, and got drafted 9th to DET. I like it here. So far we're just 2-11😞, but I can see us doing some damage next season, if not later in this season. My averages so far over my first 13 games in 27mpg are 16ppg 8.6rpg 1.9apg 1.8 spg and .8bpg. Shot percentages are .589 fg% .000 3pt% and .860 ft%. Well back to myCareer.

And oh yea, I've started the last 4 games at PF. Still not sure if I want to come up with a plan to get a 'start-worthy' PF on the team so I can move down to the 3 and wreak havoc on the smaller SFs of the league.

1. We can't get those goggles/glasses.
2. I'm not sure.
3. Just intentional foul (press 'select').
4. It depends. If you say you don't like the coach, he may end up getting fired. If you say you like, or don't like playing with a certain player, their minutes will go up, or down a lil bit accordingly, but as to saying you don't like playing with a player, they don't know you told the GM that, because I've never seen any players I mentioned not passing me the ball or anything like that. Now if you say you 'don't get along' with a teammate, they will look to trade that player, unless they like that player more than you.
