How many here have more than one My Career going? I've made a Center, Small Forward and shooting guard.

I have 3. I have a Back to the Basket Center. I love playing as him because I am an 87 and a beast. I get 18 PPG and about 13 RPG only playing Key games. I have an Athletic PG who I hate because he cant score for a damn. He is now on my favorite team the Sacramento Kings and I havent played a game that season yet. I spent 3 years in Houston. Unfortunatly that contract extension glitch kept me from coming back so I joined a team with only 1 PG and I made it 2 PGs. My 3rd is a Scoring PG. i got drafter 9th by the Pistons and I am in my second year and I have to tell you it sucks being on this team because they have 5 guards including me. However I want to help this team win a title.

So far the biggest annoyance in this game for me is when I accidentally hit the shoot button after grabbing a turnover (because I'm trying to steal/pick up the ball too enthusiastically), which makes my player shoot from halfcourt or even further, resulting in a dumb shot, resulting in the coach getting pissed at me and yanking me...and then I get demoted to 6th man.

I posted this question before, but I searched and can't remember where I put it. Once the third season of my player's mycareer is finished and he goes into free agency, is it possible to be signed by my original team? I have seen quite a few 2k13 free agent videos on youtube, and none of them have the original team offering anything.

What I'm assuming is that if I want to stay with my team (Rockets), I have to extend my contract during the year, but as far as I can tell, there's a glitch when you go talk to the GM and try to re-sign.

I honestly want to keep my options open, one of them being a new contract with the Rockets. But I'm looking at other options.

If anyone can help me with this in the near future, I appreciate it greatly. The headline page in mycareer says that it's the deadline to re-sign with teams, so I'm assuming I have to make a decision once I turn the game back on.

Ditto I hate this I cautiously press the skip cutscene/pass button only once after a basket this seems to help me.

Had an old save file that was 4 key games away from the start of my 4th year. I entered free agency and noticed Lebron went to Charlotte. Melo was on Phoenix from the year before so i decided to go to Washington and resurrect THEIR franchise. Then quit to change my gear. Loaded my guy again and i was a free agent again. Looked at the mavericks roster (my favorite team) and Lebron signed with them. So i signed back with the Mavs and played my first game.

Thomas moore (90 ovr with posterizer).

I was throwing oops all game but we lost by 2 to the warriors. I had to take a 3 with 2.6 seconds left from the corner while they double teamed me. Ugh... But was still fun!

So I found a way to cheese the game back... I was a 90 strength so I equipped some kobe's with a +5 strength that made me a 95... Bought level 3 scrapper...unequipped the kobe's haha..4 minutes into the game and I have the entire heat team with gatorade symbols under them hahaha

You can turn off after basket cut scenes and replays off in the Presentation menu.

First season is over. After sweeping the Kevin Love-less Timberwolves, my Mavs were swept by the Lakers. Just completely destroyed. I played pretty well but we just could not stop their offense.

It got particularly annoying when the computer coach decided my 6-7 SF with no strength or post defense needed to match up against Pau Gasol for 10 minutes a game. Gasol just destroyed me completely.

Jason Kidd retires and in a stunningly stupid move, the computer GM decides not to re-sign Vince Carter, who though old, was a major contributor to our playoff run. Doubling up that stupid crap, they also let OJ Mayo go.

Chris Kaman returns from injury so that will help in year two. Not a lot done in free agency, as the Mavs signed Nate Robinson, who is 6th man right now.

Roddy Beaubois is the new PG, and Darren Collison moves to SG. I move full time to SF position.

Not sure if this team will even make the playoffs unless I step up my game.

I really hate the fact that nothing was done to improve the Mavs defense in the offseason, so I am going to spend the year beefing up my personal defense and hope I can be an enforcer.

I've already asked the CPU GM to trade Chris Kaman, because the team is badly in need of a defensive center who can rebound.

Really wish I had more GM control in MyCareer mode. I may lose a couple games here at the start of the season just to get the GM to ask me if I want to trade for any players.

Bout halfway through the 3rd quarter against the heat I had 37 pts..9 rebounds and 15 assists..what does D'antoni do??..the dude hits me with that cheese and pulls me for the rest of game...preventing my triple double :sly:

All three of My Career players are beasts but I still suck at getting assists. Scoring and rebounds are great but I really have to learn how to pass.

I hear you. Life long mavs fan and every time i play there i hate it. Dirk isn't dirk or I'd love it. I even edited the roster and gave him dead eye along with shot creator to see if he would start doing "the shot" more with more reliability. Nope! Late in games he's always a liability even with 90 stamina. It's like his closer skill doesn't even work. But we drafted a defensive center in year 2 and we just signed Lebron. So I'm finally excited for the season!
