Playing on Sim and Superstar. Raised my on ball D to a max 99 so I can gurad the best SG's in the game.

I was playing 2K for like the last few games but I moved back to turbo and I seemed to play and defend better.

This was my fear going into the second round against the lakers. They swept season series by double digits every game not even close. And after a 12 pt loss at home in game 1 I thought I was getting swept, but my team has stepped up. We are down 3-2 right now, every game coming down to the final minute. Except game 1 obviously. Game 5 went into ot and I lost by 5. Now I've got game 6 in la but I've got confidence that we can send it back home for game 7 in Utah.

Just play team basketball, don't try to take over the game too early. That's the best advice I can give you against those damn lakers.

yeah ill post a update but me being athletic pg and having james harden we abused steve nash absolutely abused HIM . lots of post ups and clear out isolations whenever nash or blake was guarding me and the same with james harden . We set the tone and the team stepped up big

My PLAYER Athletic PG (88) Lakers Series Won 4-1

Just finished my series with the Lakers we won game 1 92-88 I had 36 points 7 rebounds and 8 assist along with 4 steals The main focus for this series was to abuse Steve Nash on the offensive end ! Especially having James Harden whenever Nash was guarding Harden i would isolate almost every time . It proved to be successful all but one game . For the conference championship we are set to face the Denver Nuggets during the regular season . We tied the series 2-2 i missed a buzzer beater at home one game . The PG matchup should be exciting against me and Ty Lawson kinda worried about beating up on Chandler Parsons but he has played stellar on defense thus far. GO ROCKETS

So I am playing against the Toronto Raptors and i realize that Rudy Gay has the anti-freeze sig skill. Really? Rudy Gay the guy that's shooting 40% from the field and has been shooting 38% from the field since coming to the Raptors has the Anit-Freeze sig skill? Do these guys even watch the NBA?

The problem with Rudy Gay IRL is not ever getting cold or freezing, it's his bad shot selection. Plus the fact he's a maniac and if you give him the ball, he's likely shooting it from whatever distance.

I had a Center that played for Rockets. Very fun team. Just a lil' piece of advice: you'll really have to step up your game come the playoffs because at least on NBA 2k13, the team is comprised of a bunch of chokers. Harden included. Thank God you're the PG though. Otherwise you would have to put up with Lin turning the ball over 3-4 consecutive times coming crunch time.

3rd year PG with the hornets. Won 14 straight headed to playoffs #1 and leading MVP race and now it's damaged and cannot be loaded anyway to recover it?

Approaching the all-star break with my SG James May for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers went from the worst team in the central to the best in the east with a record of 36-12. May is leading the league in points, steals and FG%. Final year of my contract, so I'm playing for the big money this season.

Update on Cliff Wallace (defensive center for NO):

The trade for Wilson Chandler is paying off. Before he arrived NO was dead in the water and roughly 5 games out of 8th place with a 19-24 record. Now NO is sitting pretty at the 5th seed with a 36-28 record and is just 3.5 games back of the Mavs who are first in the division and 2nd in the West.

Sadly we don't face the Mavs for the rest of the season so we can't make up ground that way.

Wallace is currently averaging 9.4 ppg, 10.5 rpg (4th in the NBA), with 1.8 bpg. He recently had his high in blocks with 7, high in points with 26, and rebounds with 20 (all in different games). He had a great showing at the Rising Stars Challenge with 7 empathetic dunks and 3 disgusting rejections.

First rookie showcase game I get drafted first to the Hornets..

Create your SF, and when you pick if you want him to be Athletic, Scoring, etc, there is one there called Point Forward

How many of you guys have experienced getting the freezing glitch after your contract extension? Is there a solution available now?

Another question, I created a second mycareer profile, after a few games, i wasn't happy so I decided to delete the file. Problem: whenever I would play blacktop the player I'm using is the second one and I don't know how to find the option (if there is one) of switching to my old mycareer player. Anyone know how?

I had a couple of key games lined up so I didn't want to play Toronto or GSW. But apparently in the 2 games I didn't play Aldridge gets hurted and is out for 2 months with a broken back.


I had to check because I noticed it after I started playing against OKC. Now I got Jeffries who starts for him.



I then checked who was injured, seems like every star is out. These are just a few. The list totaled 40-45 people and at least 20-30 were really important players.

Maybe someone can help me here. I created new player Point Forward SF. Sucked in showcase. Ended up getting drafted by Rockets. Which I hate playing for. Lin doesn't pass. Harden does so I like playing with him. But anyway, what teams need a SF? I have no problem being a 6th man for now as long as PG actually passes the ball.
