Whats the deal with not being able to call defensive plays from anywhere else except the PG position? It really sucks if you are not playing PG, because if you play on HOF you will be cheated to death because you can't change up your defense. The only time I really win games on HOF in MyCareer is when I'm playing PG and am able to switch my defense to the Halfcourt Press. It really helps combat the ridiculous shooting percentages. I just wish I could do this with my SG...

Any tips for Athletic PG in Rookie Showcase? I'm balling out with my 3PT Specialist, but Athletic is a bit of a mystery for me.

I played 2k12 night and day, and I CANNOT get Play Vision to work. I have the settings to "On" and "Full" and yet nothing ever happens. Being a point guard...this really sucks. 2k12 would run plays automatically. How do I fix this? What gives?

It's currently broken. You have to turn it on each game. The setting won't save. Also there is another problem where your AI teammates won't call plays... It sux if you get subbed in as SG.

Quick question for everyone. What type of jumpshot are you all using? I'm trying out new jumpshots on my player and was wondering which one would have the best/easiest release.

If you are not a big men, try Kobe. It's 200sp but has really forgiving release timing.

Drive the lanes. Use athletic moves such as spinning and hop-stepping to get yourself into the paint for layups or dunks. Athletic PG should have nice handles too so it shouldn't be too difficult to pull off a few iso moves and drive to the hoop. Try snagging some rebounds too since you're athletic it's likely your vertical rating is higher.

Athletic PG drafted #3 to the Wizards. Playing on HOF Sim, 12 minute quarters. Having a pretty decent season off the bench so far, averaging 13.0ppg and 6.4apg. We are 3rd in the conference at 4-4 on the season. I decided to sign with Nike. My approach is to play every game until I get the starting position, the do nothing but Key Games to keep it realistic. Hopefully me and John Wall can turn this franchise around!

If you are not a big men, try Kobe. It's 200sp but has really forgiving release timing.

200? That's not bad, I assumed it would be alot more. I was just trying out the basic ones. I'll give that a look, thanks!

I'm an athletic PG and got drafted number 3 to the Wizards. My stats were like 31pts 14asts 7rebs and 5stls.

Run the pick and rolls and just rack up easy assists. But if its not there dont force it. TO's can KILL your draft stock. Crash the boards on offense, for rebounds. Bait the passing lanes for steals, as they translate into easy buckets. As for scoring, most of my points came on fast breaks, and situations where we were up big and they went into a full court man. Just grab the inbound and sprint down the court for an easy dunk. It really isnt too hard getting up a big lead on them.

If you're the PG you can have playvision. Just gotta enable it once in the game in the Presentation menu, but you're right that it doesn't save that setting.

What ya taking about? The guy said he's a PG and enabled it. Why do I have to repeat back to him what he already knows.

What a series against the Nets. Game 7, OT, went down to the dying seconds. 8 seconds left, D Will got the clutch 3 to put them up by 1. 67-66. Lamar Jordan(My Player Name) went into clutch mode. Got the ball in the low post, backs down Lopez and throws a left handed Sky Hook to put the Hornets up by one. 68-67. 3 seconds left, Nets call a timeout. The ball is placed in Joe Johnson hand, he chucks up a 3, ball rims out... HORNETS WIN!!

That was one of the funniest, most exciting game I've ever played in the My Player/My Career mode. Props to 2K!

I can see them as PG, but have to turn it on every game. It doesn't save my preference.

thats weird because i do turn it on every game also, and i know it doesnt save, but even after i turn it on my team only seems to run inbound plays?!

Don't pay any attention to emotions, it's basically how your player reacts to calls and whatnot durin games. I don't put up unless I had nothing else to use my points on.
