Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
First time posting on this website!
Created a 6'3" all around PG. Got drafted #15 to Philly after posting 10-and-10 in the showcase game. Started off on the bench, moved to 6th man after 2 or 3 games. About 20 games in after averaging 8.5ppg and 6apg I got bumped into the starting SG spot. Since then, I've become an AWFUL scorer in general, anything that I put up is an automatic brick unless its a completely uncontested fastbreak layup. Contact layups are pray for a shooting foul for me now. But what else can I do when I have the lane and a 90 in layups?
Coach had enough of my 2/10 shooting performances and sent me back to the bench. If I can learn how to buy a bucket, or just get over the temptation to ever take a shot ever again in this game, maybe I can be a star.
Couple things that bug me:
Shooting percentages aren't realistic. Every league leader in FG% seems to play for Philly. I may be the only one on the roster who can't shoot 55% from the field on the year.
I play 7 minute quarters, and the sim quarters are 7 minutes but whenever I hit the bench the computer goes insane and puts like 25 points on the board in a 2 minute period. It sucks coming in after a 2 minute break and your 5 point lead is somehow a 13 point deficit.
I used to get annoyed that my Twitter followers would rip me for only having 4 rebounds (a backup point guard, really!?). But then I realized that I play for Philadelphia, so +1 for realism.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
okay um WHAT THE F**K
So I've been starting at SF for the Cavs since 10 games into the season. Started rest of the season. 3rd in the league in scoring. Rookie of the year. Blah blah blah.
So we get to the 2nd round of the playoffs, and now I'm randomly coming off the bench and barely getting half the minutes I had before? WHAT?!?!!?
Any idea how/when/if 2K will fix this nonsense?

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
I have a big problem, i stared MyCareer first. Have played a few games and invested some VC in my guy. Then i started an association and it asked me to choose an online slot for my association. Now when i go back to mycareer it says "this my career is no longer available on the 2k sports server. You can continue playing this as an offline mycareer where you will earn skill points instead of VC. I want to make it online again how do i do that???! I'm freaking out and can't find an answer anywhere.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread
In the end of my 2nd season with my PG. I just got my 1st start as the teams starting SG. We beat MEM by 10. I had 12pts, 16 assists, 5 rebs, and 2 steals.
I purposely only played key games. I didnt want to start over Curry. I am planning on leaving after my 3rd year.
I won 6th man of year with 8.9ppg, 7.1 apg, 3.4 rpg, 1.3 steals, 45 FG%, and 90 FT%Comment

I would probably assume that if your team is leading in FG% across the league with all players that you're on a low difficulty setting, is that true?
It seems that you are struggling though, so it's obviously the right level to play on for yourself, but I think if you were on levels All Star upwards this wouldn't be the case.Comment
