Yeah man I saw a couple other people talking about that earlier. That is a really bad glitch in this game. 2k gotta fix that.

I got berated by the coach in one game.. called timeout by accident.. accidentally hit that button in the closing minute with a 7 point lead last night.. but I missed the message on the screen other than it said no no no no no or something .. oops!

For any1 interested chris smooves video on youtube says you can't see your vertical when dunnking if you pick jordan over nike.
Don't know if its a glitch but I choose jordan brand & my verticle shows up most big dunks for me & my team-mates.
Highest verticle so far 41.4 inches! Thinking of getting calf sleeve to boost verticle, see if I can get above 45'!

That's cool if you can see it with Jordan shoes as well.

I just think they did it because Nike has that "nike+" thing going on with the chip inside your shoes which measures all kind of stuff (distance you ran,...).

                  Sigh,

Alright, so I'm a 6-3 pg playing with the suns, been starting since the 7th game and I'm 20 games in.

Got floor general, dimer, defensive anchor, finisher but am struggling trying to figure out what my 5th sig should be.

I switch between closer (since the suns don't have one and I saw us give up a 14 pt lead to the clippers last game in the 4th to lose it cause my teammates all of a sudden couldn't finish the lay ups I served them up with on perfect pick and rolls)

                  Deadeye - for shooting obviously

Ankle breaker - coming off the pick n rolls/pops its nice to get open lanes or teammates cause the defender stumbled/fell

Spot up shooter - for shooting since both Beasley and brown can go 1 on 1 and create as well. I get a lot of open looks, just giving them the ball and letting them make something happen

Shot creator for the end of games to go iso

Active hands - I hate giving up layups on fast breaks

                  Or microwave

I have plenty of vc (over 14 k) so money is no object.

What would you guys recommend for a pass first pg on the suns?

By the way, I play on HOF 12 min qtrs and play every game if that helps the suggestions. We're currently 11-10 and sitting tied for 6th

I'm less than 10 games away from the playoffs and the Grizzlies (my team) have the best record and recently locked up the Western Conference, so I'm not too worried about losing a few games. I'm currently 2nd in MVP behind LeBron James (shocker) and 1st in Rookie of the Year.

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread

My thoughts and advice on 2k13:

Rebounding: Always always ALWAYS go to the opposite side of the basket that the ball is coming from. There is a 70% [guess] any rebound will come to that side. Once I figured that out my rebounding went way up for my center. I still give up the crazy offensive rebounds but that is basically when the ball is shot directly in front of the backboard. Then you do not have any idea which way it will bounce. Went from struggling to get 10 to averaging 15 easy.

Fast Breaks: This is what drove me from playing a center. I tanked the rookie game [no pts, 6 fouls, 4 TO] so I could be taken by the Bulls. So, I am with my favorite team and moving to knock Noah out of the starting lineup. Well, with me in there we are pretty dominate on the boards. I actually like playing with Boozer. We are pretty efficient on offense too. HOWEVER, the fast break is KiLLING me. Everyone shoots so well against us it is pathetic. If we setup our half court offense, they never bring it near me (smart). My guards give these easy open shots which just sucks. The bad part is that the other team fast breaks us to death! They will beat my guards down court 70% of the time. I can't defend that as a center! Grrrrrr! Does anyone has a way to make my guards not be idiots?

Because I can't stop the fast break as a center I started over as a pg. having a super fun time with that. I am able to stop 90% of the fast breaks and defend everyone on the court. He'll, I even average over a block a game and I am not even trying to get any.

VC:. I don't like that they way they use VC makes what you earn in a game much much less important. I end up saving mid game so I can go play 1 on 1 blacktop to earn 160 VC. Now I spam they silly mobile app to earn more. Earning my upgrades mostly by not playing is stupid. I really don't care if I get an A+ in a game because I get...60 pts for a b+. Why work like a dog for 40 more when I can get that x3 in blacktop? This part of the game is just lame.

If they fix the fast break or if someone can tell me how to stop the madness playing a center....I will be a fan for life.

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread

yesterday I had the worst experience ever in MP.

First, I'm sick of being moved from PG to SG, then not being able to call any plays, and never having any plays called. This playcalling stuff has to be fixed or MP will not be playable for me.

Now, the bad part. I was playing my 2nd game as a member of the 76ers, we were up against the Knicks. 1st half played out as usual, I played a few minutes here and there. Interestingly I came out and started the third quarter.

And then I never came out. About 4 minutes in I was moved from PG to SF, which put me up against Carmelo. The universe pretty much exploded. a 64 rated PG in his 2nd game, defending against Carmelo? Needless to say a 5 point deficit got up to 15 pretty quick. But then it got worse. I was moved to PF. I gave up approximately 15,476 offensive rebounds for 20,000 points.

At one point I looked like I was crawling on all fours, my energy was so low. I couldn't make a wide-open shot from anywhere on the floor. We ended up losing by 20-something but I am done with MP. It's just plain broken.

I've seen similar... McHale decided to put a 6-1 PG in the 4 against Josh Smith. Wisely ATL exploited this as they looked for him in the block almost every time. Fortunately this only lasted for a few minutes.

Only happened once so far so it hasn't taken away from my enjoyment from the mode.

I am loosing 1 Minute a game after making it up to 41 minutes. It started to happen after I told the GM I wanted to play more with Kevin Love (The AI increased his minutes from 30 to 38) so I am thinking this option is broken in the sit-down with GM ...

Did you say you wanted to play more with a particular person?

And yes it is getting very old. Doing enough in the games where the coach says he is increasing your minutes, only to have -1 minutes every single time.

Also, if Ronnie actually did play four seasons of MyCareer, as is said, then my question is.... why so many bugs/glitches?

With your set-up, I'd go with one of the following:

1: Lock-down Defender - This would allow you to nullify the Sig skill of the opponents' best offensive threat (also a rumor it works on interior defense as well as perimeter d)

2: Active hands - to stop drives from the Westbrooks/Roses/Pauls of the world.

If you are inclined to go with Microwave, I'd suggest Antifreeze instead... others have said it seems to be more useable and better, and this is my experience as well.

Also, because you are pass-first and built to help your teammates instead of yourself, the Post Playmaker skill might be helpful, especially for Beasley or Brown on outlet perimeter type of shots. Just a thought, but this can be quite overpowering if abused.

Yea Antifreeze, is better IMO than Microwave. You dont have to get hot to get the skill. As long as you taking good shots and not turning the ball over, your FG% with be around 50+% easily.
