Any news on whether there will be another patch coming soon? I wanted to start a new MyCareer, but may want to wait for the latest patch if any.

Does anybody have tips for getting blocks? I'm a 6'5" athletic pg with 99 vert and 50 block. The only milestones I'm really missing are the 3blocks/3steals and a 5x5 game

if you're not too worried about the team rating, you can always leave guys like arenas or curry slightly open, then rush them as they go up, got 4 blocks against arenas and the kings in 1st quarter and despite the open shots, my late arrivals kept him to about 20%. It is hard though.

I find blocking layups from behind is easier than blocking them from in front (only block shorter players on layups or you will hack someone and thats not great)

I may be remembering this wrong but I think shoes are tied to fans. 4 million for first shoe and 8 million for second. I may be wrong but i played 6 seasons and only got 2 shoes.

it aint fans, got my first shoe at around 8mill, rookie of the year and mvp and my second at 18-20 mill in second year, mvp dpoy. Not sure what the triggers are, fans would be a good trigger though, they don't do much else.

So is there gonna ever be a fix to not getting subbed out late in games. Cause it gets bad sometimes as in my player has no meter under him and I have to foul out to get subbed out.

Melo and Beasley both SF with the Suns (top 4 SF in league leaders in mycareer)
Lin and Chris Paul both point guards with the Rockets
Dwight with the Pistons

All by year 3 definitely takes some fun away from the game. Only one possible pick up was Bosh to the Lakers

Any tips on negotiating? My guy is top 3 among league leaders in assists and points in year 3 but I'm only getting offered 4 years 500 VC.. Do our guys even effect the teams salary cap?

Finished rookie year, played all 82 games plus the playoffs (lost 4-2 to the Spurs in the 1st round).



Won ROY, All-NBA 1st team, and All-Defense 2nd team

These were my numbers:







In the offseason, we somehow signed Dwight Howard and Nate Robinson, so now our lineup is


PG - Me (89 overall)
SG - Gordon (88 overall)
SF - Chandler Parsons (77 overall) (when they asked me for trade targets I suggested Parsons, they traded Aminu for him)
PF - Davis (85 overall)
C - Dwight (93 overall)


Our team jumped from a 79 overall to a 92 overall, we're primed to make a serious run this year.


So far in year 2 we are 4-0, and I just set the team record for assists in a game in our last game with 23.

Once I get my guy up to a 95 I'll start key-gaming for the most part. Even as an 89, he puts up pedestrian numbers in the few games I've simmed with him, so I don't want to risk doing it for any long stretches.

This was actually discussed here a few days ago. Right now from what I know this only occurs when you get the dynamic goal "Bring your team within 5/10 points."

As soon as you get this goal you have to complete it in order to get subbed out at some point. It sucks because in some games you just can't handle the CPU scoring so if you get it early in the 2nd quarter or something and they go up by 30 you're going to play every minute of the game.

So I haven't heard of a fix yet other than try not to fall behind by more than 12 points or so lol. Looks like we're going to have to deal with it..

Just got traded to the Thunder (still starting off the bench). Think I'll play all games now instead of just 'key' games. Im beginning to think I'm suffering due to it.

Scored my career high with 91 points. I just couldn't miss. Plus it was against Kobe so that it made it very nice. Then after that, we had the most amazing game. We trailed OKC until one minutes to go in the fourth. We came back from 15 down and no matter how hard we tried, the tying shot would never go in. They were up four after two free throws, and I hit a three. They were up three after two free throws and again, I clear space and hit the three at the buzzer. We won it in overtime with the fans chanting MVP. Such a great feeling. The Cleveland Cavaliers are leading the East by one game over Miami.

My PLAYER Athletic PG (88) First Year

Swept the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round ! Now to face the 2 seeded Lakers . Went 1-3 This season during regular season matchups Dwight is to Powerful for Omer Asik think ill mix it up with zones and such to keep em off balanced. I had my career high 50points a week before the playoffs against the lakers , mainly because nash can not guard me . Individually i do fine but i need to find a way to get my teamates involved .

First round stats :

28.6 PPG 6.7 RPG 8.4 APG
