The Celtics get a young backup PG who will play spare minutes to Rondo. The Knicks get Bogut whos 5M a season cheaper and around the same rating, and also get Landry who is an expiring contract and who New York will like to watch for the rest of the season. The Knicks also get Lucas whos an upgrade to their rookie. The new players for Boston will make their debuts against Atlanta ...UPDATE COMING SOON!

        Dang,
What happend to Milsap!?! (Im late, I know). What year are you in? I know you wanted to get younger, so what is Tmac doing? (JK).

Good trade, I was trying to get Stat too, take that contract off of NYK hands but they wanted too much for him!

              Game 8 vs. Atlanta Hawks:
The Celtics win a close game vs. Atlanta by a score of 84-79. The Hawks got better in the offseason grabbing top FA Andre Iguodola, and put up a solid fight against the 7-1 Boston Celtics. Kevin Martin's clutch 8/8 free throws in the last minute of play sealed the win for Boston. Martin was the leading scorer with 27pts, and Amare Stoudemire in his 1st game as a Celtic put up 11pts (all in the 2nd half) as the team is just figuring out how to get him involved in the offense. Rondo put up yet another double double and now have did so in all but 1 game this year. Lou Williams was the leading scorer for Atlanta with 20pts and Devin Harris put up 18pts in the loss. Here are the stats:

              Martin - 27pts 5reb 3ast 1stl 1blk
              Green - 18pts 5reb 3blk
              Rondo - 13pts 13ast 3reb 2stl 1blk
              Stoudemire - 11pts 3reb 2blk
              Battier - 5pts 2reb 2ast 1blk
              Sullinger - 4pts 2reb

              Williams - 20pts 4ast 1stl
              Harris - 18pts 7ast 2stl
              Iguodala - 12pts 7reb 2stl
              Horford - 8pts 5reb
              Smith - 8pts 3reb 4stl 2blk

              All-Star Weekend:
              - Fab Melo was invited to the Rising Stars game and played with Team Elite
              - Kevin Martin and Rajon Rondo played for Team East in the All Star Game, where the East won 92-82.

              - Next game is against the 3-5 Bucks, as Boston will continue to try and stay on top of the league.
Injuries: C. Lee (Out), McGrady (Out), Quincy Acy (Out)

                    Game 9 vs. Milwaukee Bucks:
Wow...What a game vs. the Bucks. The Celtics win the game 90-88 but holy what a game from Monta Ellis...he dropped 49 points on me...I couldnt stop him at all...Started off the game w/ Martin on him, switched to Rondo after the 1st, switched to Green at half, and got Battier in the 4th and yet no one could even slow Ellis down. I was very luck to get a win out of this. Last 20 seconds, Ellis with the ball and he waited out the clock until 9 seconds. I timed the double team right and Green came over to help Battier..Ellis couldnt move so dished to Mbah a Moute for the game winning 3 pointer, but Moute missed and the game ended. Martin was the leading scorer for Boston with 26pts, and Stoudemire was incorporated into that offense and found his touch dropping 21pts in the win. Im loving the trio of Rondo, Martin, Amare they are really dangerous when all on the court. Here are the stats:

                    Martin - 26pts 1st 1blk
                    Stoudemire - 21pts 2reb 1stl
                    Rondo - 15pts 17ast 3reb 2stl
                    Green - 13pts 2reb 2ast 2blk
                    Sullinger - 6pts 1reb

                    Ellis - 49pts 2reb 2ast
                    Udoh - 12pts 7reb
                    Lamb - 8pts
                    Calderon - 7pts 10ast

                    - PF/C Jared Sullinger will be out 1-2 weeks with a injury. Fab Melo, Dalembert and Gray will see extended minutes as he will be expected to miss only 1 game, 2 at most.
                    - SG/SF Courtney Lee is back from Injury and the Celtics will be very happy to get him back as their 6th man. The could have used him against Monta last game lol.

                    - The next game is against the 6-3 Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs are a surprise in the East this year led by Irving, ex Celtic Paul Millsap, Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson. The storyline here is Millsap is looking to burn his old team for not re-signing him in free agency after their playoff run last year.
                    Injuries: Sullinger, McGrady, Acy

                      Game 10 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers:
Well this was a very nice game for Boston who beat Cleveland 99-80, and it was no contest the entire game. The Celtics clinched a playoff spot with the win and will now try and finish out the last 3 games of the season strong before going into the playoffs looking for the title. Stoudemire had his 2nd straight strong game for Boston with 21pts and 4blk. Kevin Martin put up 20pts in the win. The Cavs like Boston had 6 players in double digit scoring led by Waiters who scored 17, and Millsap who put up 16pts in the loss. Here are some stats:

                      Stoudemire - 21pts 3reb 4blk
                      Martin - 20pts 4ast 3reb 2blk
                      Green - 14pts 5reb 4stl 1blk
                      Rajon Rondo - 14pts 10ast 3reb 2stl
                      Battier - 10pts 2reb
                      Lee - 10pts 1stl
                      Dalembert - 8pts 9reb 4ast 1stl

                      Waiters - 17pts 3reb 2ast 1stl
                      Millsap - 16pts 6reb 2ast
                      Gee - 11pts 5reb 3ast 3stl
                      Zeller - 10pts 3reb
                      Thompson - 10pts 5reb 1blk
                      Irving - 10pts 4ast

                      - C Samuel Dalembert will be out 1-2 weeks with a strained oblique. He had a really nice game vs. Cleveland with 8pts 9reb 4ast, and his presence was felt under the basket. Fab Melo will draw the start vs. Indiana next game and Sullinger will get a boost in minutes as well.
                      - PF/C Jared Sullinger, SG/PG Tracy McGrady, and PF Quincy Acy will are return from injury and it looks like the team is almost 100%, only missing Dalembert for a game or 2. Sully will be back as the teams 6th man backing up both PF and C and should get extra minutes w/ Dally out. TMAC is still DTD but will play through the minor injury and should come off the bench and backup PG and SG. Acy will be back to his bench role.

                      - Next game is against the 4-6 Pacers as they look to close out the season`s last few games strong going into the playoffs!
                      Injuries: Dalembert (Out), McGrady (DTD)

Hey Fellas! I want to fire my coach Mike Dunlap (CHA), Im tired of looking at him on the sidelines plus all his ratings are D. My assistant coach even has a better rating than him. Thing is, he won coach of the year last year and we're 3-3 this year (not bad enough to justify firing him).

Does having a better coach boost any ratings or anything? If so, he's gone! But if not Im stuck with him
