Re: Coach2K's Hall of Fame Challenge
As I mentioned above, I've started giving this challenge a little twist and that's to not only play the HOF CPU on simulation sliders and 12 minute quarters individually but also using a team up team to see if it can be done.
So far we've been able to knock of the Hawks, the Magic and the Bobcats.
We have taken several losses to the CPU sometimes just getting pounded.
Our next opponent we are going to try and beat is the Detroit Pistons.
Anyway, here's some game play so you can see a team-up game with five guys vs. the HOF CPU.

LOL, Coach why are you standing so far from the 3pt line? Are you trying to be like a defensive balance in the triangle offense, to stop the CPU from scoring off fastbreaks so much?Originally posted by Dogslax41Most people that are asking for a simulation game don’t really want a simulation game because its too hard.Comment

Re: Coach2K's Hall of Fame Challenge
I was out there for a few reasons. To see if I could create more space, I couldn't hit anything (think I was 0-6) and to be a safety valve in case someone took a bad shot. If you play hall of fame mode and the CPU moves with lightning speed to the other end off a missed shot, that's the "you took a bad shot" signal. You have to leave instantly and I needed that extra step later in the game because the game was tight and I think I still gave up a 3 on none fast break once there. I try and be out there too in case someone needs to pass out of a bad situation.
The real reason probably was because it was 4:30 am ET and I was dead tired and just wanted to go to bed and of course the game goes to overtime lol. I think you can see George Hill even slouch over indicating he was tired of playing too.Last edited by Coach2K; 07-08-2013, 05:43 PM.For MyNBA, MyLeague & MyGM content, follow Coach2K on X by clicking here.

Not sure if Coach is still following along here. But I like the idea. I decided I'd do it once association got stale.. it's that time now. Lol. HOF sim. Only difference is I'm using a 2014 roster that includes player moves and draftees. Should be fun. First up is Washington!Comment

Nevermind! Orlando is first! I'm going to decide rather to randomly select my team each game or stick with the bobcats.. pot after gameLast edited by JA Money14; 07-17-2013, 03:06 PM.Comment

Re: Coach2K's Hall of Fame Challenge
I know this threads old but I was looking through the game recaps. Looks like alot of people are scoring 70-100 points in the paint. Dont really understand the point of that when an average game in the NBA scores around 105 total. Your scoring more than 2/3 of your points in the paint?Comment

Re: Coach2K's Hall of Fame Challenge
I played my first game there and nearly half of my points were in the paint, so about 45 points inside. When the CPU get anywhere inside the paint it is very difficult to stop them. I blocked a ton of shots for some reason but about 75 of their 100 points were inside, literally.Comment
