Btw can we still play offball offense in 2K13? I've never really used that but it could be usefull and you could actually replicate Wade's off ball movement.
yeah we can I think its total passing or something like that this year.

LB then whatever player then RB, will switch to off ball offense, getting someone to pass you the ball though .

That is total control passing, which his holding RB + Icon, which gives you the ability to move the receiver where ever then upon letting go, you get the pass. Not the same thing as off-ball offense. With TC passing, the ballhandler is stationary as you move around the receiver.

With off-ball offense (OBO) the ballhandler is taken over by the CPU and you are literally off ball (ala Team Up).

so where is that option? or are you speaking of player lock?

No option to turn on/off, just press LB then Icon then RB to play off ball offense.

yeah I found it, but does pressing a button not have the player pass to you? didn't work for me

I agree and I run plays 85% of the time. The problem I see is players running into each other or running back and forth when they should be running around the screen.

Even if you spread the floor 2K didn't do a good job programing with players running off screens or running to get open.
When the play is running Ty Lawson runs just as slow as Mike Miller. 2K's plays don't utilize speed, they all run and cut the same speed.

but if you do call spread the floor first you will see less movement. but its not perfect I do agree

I've pressed just about all the buttons, hence why I originally said about getting the CPU to pass to you.

alright I might have it. try clicking in on the rstick like you do on d to wrap up. thats what has worked for me
scratch that, I think its just a button but the ball handler has to have a passing lane to throw it to you I think. Otherwise the cpu will think its a bad pass and not throw it

well it seems you can also get the cpu to pass the ball automatically like they do in my player if you have good movement. If all else fails and the cpu has a lane I think its just the a button.

You want off ball movement to set up some pick n rolls but not after its already taking place. Why is it my team will space out perfectly on a low post play, but on a pick n roll my guys sleepwalk? And calling iso/space floor does not have enough of an impact. Also, if I have a stretch 4 in the game, he should be at the 3 pt line. So frustrating!!
