Probably cause its 2K, they don't wanna get everything out at one moment until its good to them. They probably rebuilt everything cause I'm expecting it was most likely old, disk consuming code. I recall 2K12 having DREAMCAST online code.

it did lol. i agree, 2k is taking their damn time to give us this mode. I saw a post last night saying that they're probably giving us a watered-down version of crew first and then saving the full-on mode for when next-gen has basically taken the reins in 2k15. Like I said before, I believe that the extremely early version of next-gen crew is sitting on a hard drive in 2k studios somewhere and they're gonna come in and finally give us what we want. One can dream. At least this blacktop version is better than nothing

Man that SUCKS. crew will be on blacktop. That made my hype for 2k14 go away. I think they wont make 2k14 better. 2K11 is STILL the best game.

it isn't crew! the reason everyone loves both my player and crew was the 1) customization of it all (your own jerseys and logo with your own colors) and 2) the feel of a real nba environment like the crowd, announcers, replays, and plays. They like seeing themselves as real nba players and 3) the teamwork of it all. Having modify your offense/defense according to your opponent, having to play through foul trouble, and running fast paced offense or slowing it down. This mode 2k released had more of a playground feel than an nba feel. 3 v 3 blacktop mode doesn't have any of those features and therefore I see it as not crew.

I honestly don't understand what they were thinking when they made 3 v 3 half court an option. Should be 5 v 5 full court no matter what. If you don't have 5 fill it with NBA players.

Arena - Could care less if its in an Arena or on the Blacktop. As long as the game i'm playing is based on real basketball. Meaning 4 quarters and a Ref. The videos from the team up guys I watched said they didn't see any shooting fouls so that'll need to be fixed.

Jerseys - Could care less if I have the ability to customize them. 90% of the people you played had ridiculous jerseys and made the game look stupid. Just give me the Home and Away jersey of any NBA jersey in the game.

The simpler the better in terms of the customization theres really no need and IMO that was a part of the problem with lagging

As long as its real quarters its fine IMO. The damn jerseys in CAT Are fugly. Everyone would probably go get a jersey/shorts from the Shop.

Agree with you 100% 5 v 5 real quarters and a Ref and theres nothing wrong with the mode IMO. If people want an Arena so bad fine just make one standard arena. All the customization is just extra things for the server to be worried about.

Yea its like people are avoiding the fact that theres going to be 5 v 5 fullcourt and I cant imagine that being without fouls or a game to 21. All people are worried about is creating courts and jerseys I dont really get it

People are just nitpicking. Which is good/bad. I just find it funny that the most complaining about crew are close to the newly registered/least active guys on OS.

Honestly lmao. What difference does it make if your playing a 5 v 5 game in an arena or not. As long as the game tracks my stats and I have the leaderboard i'm happy. The only reason id have a problem is if you can only play with 5 humans. As long as I can have 2 or 3 players fill me up with CPU and lets go. I wouldnt even call this nitpicking 3 v 3 halfcourt is ridiculous. Thats not basketball

The thing id like to see more than any arena or jersey is the game face option EA has. I just made one on NCAA and it actually looks like ME. I didnt even use the picture method because that was too much work I just moved the face sliders around and got a real HUMAN looking creature

Haha nice to see your warming up to the crew idea.

Ill be honest earlier I wasnt too happy but ive been thinking about it. Once you get past the cosmetic changes that they made and realize theres still 5 v 5 basketball with better gameplay im pretty excited. The only thing that could ruin it for me is that I cant play 5 v 5 with 3 people. If you arent able to get CPU players then id be disappointed
