I would prefer it be in a gym for the presentation and atmosphere. That being said, my main concern is the way that blacktop plays. That MyPlayer blacktop plays like TRASH. People just jack 3's and get dunks all game long. The only thing 5v5 needs to do is introduce some realistic sliders and I would be highly satisfied.

Im sure they fixed that. All the team up guys seem to be very happy with the gameplay they just were turned off by the idea of it being 3 v 3 but they were able to get that changed

Ill be honest earlier I wasnt too happy but ive been thinking about it. Once you get past the cosmetic changes that they made and realize theres still 5 v 5 basketball with better gameplay im pretty excited. The only thing that could ruin it for me is that I cant play 5 v 5 with 3 people. If you arent able to get CPU players then id be disappointed

Oh I've been the one saying that everyone is overreacting. This is 2013, I'm surprised everyone is still trusting companies. I was expecting this to happen. As a bonus, people complaining about old footage! Cool!

Funny thing. 3v3 crew is different from MyCareer Blacktop. As MyCareer Blacktop is a return feature. Or at least that's how I'm interpreting this. Have you also read the gameplay improvements? It sounds great and is great news.

Ok, as soon as you show me it's the REAL Crew Mode I'll gladly do that.

Your going to get 5 v 5 fullcourt games with a leaderboard and stat tracking. The gameplay in 2k14 is going to be much improved than 2k11.

So does the lack of creating jerseys and an arena make it not the "Real Crew"?

Doesnt make sense to me considering everyone I played had some of the worst jerseys and court colors ive ever seen. So I dont get the problem of leaving that out. Im sure when the final product is announced everyone on your team will end up wearing the same thing whether it be jerseys or same colored shirts

IMO keep it simple give teams the choice of an NBA jersey and just play basketball. Everyones gotta start looking past the cosmetic changes to realize theres still going to be a 5 v 5 game with improved gameplay

Maybe they should show new footage and this 5v5 Crew mode we've been hearing so much about instead. Until then, the worry and complaints are justified.

My understanding is that 5v5 crew didn't actually exist at the time of the video's filming. It was only after Shake and KSpade had reservations about supporting 3v3 Blacktop labeled as Crew that the devs agreed to implement 5v5 Crew using the existing Blacktop assets.

it isnt just cosmetic changes that people are upset about its not having things like a full game with 4 quarters, and basic nba rules such as reach in fouls, shooting fouls, 3 sec calls etc...

While ive been posting Im assuming that will be all added into the 5 v 5 version. A full court game to 21 is a joke. But in the video there was a reach foul however the team up guys said they saw no shooting fouls. I know they asked for all those things so Im just assuming that with the 5 v 5 it will be a real NBA game. But your right until they are announced it is something to be upset about

Sounds like a couple of Team-Up guys called them out on it. It threw a wrench in their plans to leverage these guys to sell the mode, and they scrambled to provide something that wouldn't be entirely insulting or offensive.

It might even be fun. It just appears to be a shadow of its former self.

I dont really get why everyone calling it a shadow of it self. If you have the ability to play a 5 v 5 full court NBA game I think it could only be better. The gameplay in 2k14 looks like it is going to blow 2k11 out of the water.

If my assumptions of it being 5 v 5 NBA rule based are correct (Gonna have to wait and see) the only real difference is the presentation. Maybe its because Im not big on presentation anyways but I could care less that its on the blacktop with no jerseys. Good point i'm sure there are a lot of people who do really enjoy those things but it just doesn't appeal to me guess thats why I think the mode will be fine on the blacktop. And playing with 5 friends who I play basketball with in RL took out the playbooks for me. So yea I guess im alittle bias haha
