You know what would crack me up? If VC looked at all of the cryer posts, and decided that people seem to be more UPSET with this than happy. Then just take it out. What's the point of working on something if folks don't actually want it? It's like a kid that cries for ice cream. Then you give them a sundae, but they are still crying because they wanted a banana split. Just, wow, people. It's also amazing how people are defining Crew by where the 5v5 is played - which they have NO idea. I always felt Crew was more about having your *CREW* of friends and beating down other crews. Doesn't matter where. At least not to me. The company made the mode. So I think they have an idea what should and should not be considered "Crew"

But that's just me. So, carry on. I'm sure all the stress over so little information is quite fun for some of you guys.

You should start up your own business and live by your little philoshpy. It worked out great for Microsoft recently. Oh, wait.

If a multi-million dollar corporation has their feelings hurt by disgruntled customers on a message board and refuse to accommodate their consumers, then perhaps that multi-million dollar corporation shouldn't be in business. Not a crew guy, but people have a right to to voice their concerns, and how you feel about that is irrelevant. If 2K doesn't want any complaints, then either stop making the title or release your product for free. No? They want people to shell out $60 for their product? Then deal with everything that comes with it. Criticism, skepticism, or praise alike.

Ya'll don't even know all the details yet you're freaking out. Some of ya'll are reacting like this is either 0 or 100, all or nothing. If it's not 2K11's crew, then it's a zero to you. When in reality, even if there's no arena, this is still hella cool. (and there IS fouls, check the video 1 something mark). Playing 5on5, leaderboards, team customization, is 100x better than 2K13 blacktop.

Does 2k really has "dedicated servers" now ? as said in Shakes video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu3o6b1C6OA) ... if so, that is a giant step forward, one I wasnt expecting at all ... then again, could just be a wording mistake.

Has anything been said about if you can play 5 v 5 with 4 players and a CPU or even 3 and 2 CPUs?

Good find on the foul I also didnt see it at first. Still I wonder if guys are gonna be able to foul out? Back in 2k11 you could set your base roster as an NBA team..wonder if that's coming back.

You think 2K can make 5v5 crew in a month and a half? LOL, why are you sticking up for 2K Czar? You're just as clueless about this crew mode as the rest of us.

It was 3 on 3 when they were there and I was sticking up for the community guys! I don't think it takes months to add 2 more players to a game that already supports 5 on 5 in other modes. But what does a clueless guy like me know anyway ?

No Xbox One version of the mode 2k? LD? really? say it ain't so and that it'll be added later as DLC or something....SOMEthing.

I would say good to see it back but...I'm not sure it is in the sense that it's like the way crew was originally.

what they showed wasn't crew. I can do all that now in 2k12 except for leaderboard, which who gives a ****. 2k11 crew was the best if you had a great crew who knew how to play and not just play hero ball. When you played another crew that had the same mentality, it made for the best online experience hands down. Nothing to this day(video game wise) has ever match the fun I had when I played nba 2k crew games. here is a video I made of my crew

what they showed wasn't crew. I can do all that now in 2k12 except for leaderboard, which who gives a ****. 2k11 crew was the best if you had a great crew who knew how to play and not just play hero ball. When you played another crew that had the same mentality, it made for the best online experience hands down. That's exactly how I feel. Couldn't agree more. I asked LD2k this in another thread on here, but I'll write it again.


IF crew mode is played only on the blacktop, is there any possibility that we can get a DLC at some point that will provide us with Crew in actual arenas with fans, refs, commentary, jerseys instead of street clothes, etc.?

Honestly, I think if we could get that then 90% of us on here complaining would be happy.

Then I say keep on them as constructively as you can till crew heads get what they want. You also have the benefit of a competing product should they have a similar mode. Be vigilant, be organized and be civil.

Make videos, blog posts, illustrating exactly what you want and why. Then either they or their competition will know what to deliver.

Anybody notice they didn't update CAP in the video? Same hairstyles and bodytypes since 2k10. smh
