OH MAN. I did a pass fake into a layup. It. Was. GLORIOUS.

I'm really liking the new pro controls now that I've got a few games under my belt and am getting used to it. I just hope they're happy with these controls and don't change them again!

My thing is.. the control has been dumbed down. I can't do a left handed hook or layup on demand anymore. What's up with that @beluba?

Think i got down the half spin....some what. Still don't understand why that control needed to change. Way more intuitive the way in 2k13

Hate the new controls, just doesn't fill right with me. Like I have no control over the moves or shots.

Anyone else experiencing difficulties on dribble moves? When i'm in isomotion and move the pro stick for a series of dribble moves I always end up in pump fakes. Any advice?

If this keeps happening I suggest switching back to the old LB scheme. I tried out the new Pro Stick for several hours but, just like you, my player just threw up a shot when I wanted to do a move most of the time. So, now I can do moves with the right stick and if I want to shoot the ball, I hold the LB modifier. Makes things a lot easier for me.

What stinks is that if you do this, you lose alley opp and flashy pass functionality.

Any tips on how to do fake pass into layup? everytime i try it i do it i cant get timing right

I'm currently not having any difficulties pulling off dribble moves and shots. When making an iso move just tap really fast. Any sort of extended hold in a direction will result in a shot. The stick is and it's settings are more sensitive than you realize, and all it will really require is a very quick tap to whatever direction.

I would like to know this as well, I accidentally did it last night and haven't been able to figure it out since. So I at least know it's possible.

did the fake pass while driving, you can see it here.. its really hard to do.. many times if u hold on it too long it will just do a turnover but was able to do it with Kobe.. looks nice good job 2K

Im struggling with the lead pass (especially to convert the few fastbreak opportunities i get vs CPU). It's not as easy, nor as efficient as last yr. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, new control scheme still feels foreign.

Personslly, I kind of wish the "new" flashy pass was introduced as a rating based effect and not a manual in-play option for all players.

Seems like the stutter step while moving is not working. Sometimes is a quick step and other times it a one hand dribble in place. Don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if the game has a flaw.
