Just signed with Celtics. 5 yr 50+ mil to play with Rondo Getting on Court Coach isn't a need as of now since I know rondo will play like Rondo.

Signed with knicks in one of my saves for lil less but had another file so I did the Offseason again. Would of signed with them again but Brandon Jennings signed with them. So i can b Man on my Team.

HELL to NAW couldn't play with dude in 2k13 and don't want to take a chance in 2k14.

You know something is wrong when you are playing the Washington Wizards and John Wall has 4 blocks and Okafor made two 3pt shots.

Just as an aside, Okafor has a career 3pt % of 0.00% in real life.

so,

I've given up on my knicks (too easy...melo is a beast and jr doesn't miss)

and I've given up on my bucks (too hard...caron can't make a jumper and sanders misses too many gimmes)

so I think the kings might be juuuust right, but I've been up all night replaying the showcase to try to get to them. so I give up on trying to do it on my own and am now asking for help

if anyone made it as a pg, please post your stats: pts, rebs, ast, stls, to, blks and teammate grade so I can duplicate your efforts

I've already messed with their tendencies and helped the roster/playbook...now just gotta get to them. I've had the pelicans ask me (pick 6) and the pistons interview me (pick 8), but can't get the kings (pick 7)....it's making me rage quit lol

Figure I'd post mine. I have 4-5 MyCareers running at the moment lol. All on different PSN IDs

All on All-Star, Simulation, 12 minute quarters. I will play all games.

Name: Chris Hunter #94 "Houdini"
Info: "Athletic" PG 6'7 180-190 lbs (can't remember exact weight, slimmest body size)
Team: Drafted 24th to the NEW YORK KNICKS
Style: Future BEST PG ever. Think Penny's size and versatility, John Stockton's pick n' roll play style, and Dr. J's athleticism. Hope to average 15+ APG with some highlight dunks in between. Afro, headband, knee highs and Jordan's arm band. (knee highs in blacktop)
Sig Skills: Currently: LeBron coast-to-coast, Dimer, Ankle Breaker
Future: Maybe pick n' roll maestro, flashy passer, or floor general. All PG sigs.

Sig Skills: Currently: Bruiser, Eraser. Future: Chasedown Artist for sure, maybe Posterizer or Finisher, maybe defensive anchor or lockdown.

Team: Drafted by the T-Wolves (Forget which pick at the moment)
Style: Reggie Miller. Thin, long distance bomber, instant offense, CLUTCH. European look. Bearded.
Sig Skills: Currently: Deadeye. Future: Catch and shoot, microwave, closer. Not sure what other ones, maybe shot creator or heat retention.


Name: Alonzo Gordon #45 "Z"
Info: Face-Up PF 7'1 (weight I forgot. Second body size)
Team: Boston Celtics, 16th Pick
Style: KG all around length and athleticism, Pick n' roll god, hopefully play off of Rondo's passing. Mid range king. #45 a la MJ. So think, GOAT PF. Left handed. Clean cut.
Sig Skills:
I might restart this one. I'm not liking the name, might go with a different team or maybe not, and I am not sure face-up will be what I want because of the stat caps....stay tuned.
Previously in 2K13: Spiritual successor to my 6'7 MJ Style thin #45 SG. Different PSN id. Went through several overhauls as I was never happy with it. Best stint with the Bulls.

This PSN is more of me playing around...mostly because I made this PSN a long time ago using a different "Country" when I set it up...not sure how that will affect online ....When not in myCareer, I have the sliders all jacked to play like NBA JAM

Team: Phoenix Suns 30th pick
Style: Dennis Rodman, Barkley. Crash the boards. Beat em up. Hopefully own the boards at 20 rpg. We'll see if 2K will let me. Long Gray hair, built.
Sig Skills: Current: None yet. Future: Tenacious Rebounder, Bruiser...what else? Posterizer/Highlight Film/Finisher? Make him Shawn Kemp on Offense?

Nope, that's just the way it is. Let's just hope some of these things get patched. It's the same on superstar btw and probably allstar as well, it has little to do with difficulty. I think it's just the way the game is programmed.

Yep, that is how it is ESPECIALLY on HoF. The more my PF/C becomes dominate the more the players around me start to suck. Why? The game is scripted to an extent. If you get up by 12-ish you can damn well believe your team is going to go cold, turn the ball over, give up offensive rebounds...oh...and they will make 80%+ on 3 point shots. Does not matter who is shooing...or from how far behind the 3 pt line.

When you first start playing this game you think how awesome it is. However, it does not take too much time to see the 'rinse and repeat' the game becomes. I had one game we were up by 25 going into the third (it happens but only against teams like the Pistons). I started laughing and my wife looked up and said "what is so funny". I told her that you are about to see my team self destruct while this pathetic team turns into all world beaters. I will win the game by around 12-14 points but the lead will drop below 10. And then....suddenly....out if nowhere....

I was up by only 9! Yes, I know...simply shocking. They hit 6-8 three pointers and the two misses they got the offensive rebounds. My team had 5 TOs and we shot 17% for that span. Once the lead was down to 9 my team suddenly hit their wide open shots! I know...amazing! After I ended up winning by 15 my wife said "that was rather stupid. Why bother playing when you know how the game results will be?" It was then I turned the game off....and it will stay off...until a patch. After that I will check here to see if anything has changed. If not...I will take it back to Gamestop

So 3 years now and 2k still doesn't have a cyberface/hairstyle for Jimmy...

Anyone is on his 3rd season already? could any of you sign a contract extension with your team without the game crashing/freezing?

Idk why they selected me as on of the contestants for the dunk contest, because I rarely dunk. I might've dunked 7 times this season, and it's February.

Did get 15 rebounds last game but felt like I got lucky. Barely getting off the ground. Seemed I rebounded better in 2K13 but I'm just a few games in.

In Yr 4 I signed to a new team after jumping around as a draft bust so I don't know about contract extension. idk create two files of save game if using SP

Is the scoring toned down at all compared to 2k13? Can you still only sim to the next key game?
