Okay so it was higher than 70 obviously. Fact is every time the CPU come down the court they just want to get it inside for an easy 2. Theres no play calling or anything. They shoot the occasional jumper every now and again but 90% of the time its points inside which is unacceptable.

Last years game was not like this

You're playing Association, man. You can customize it from the ground up...Including sliders. There is an awesome community right here on this site that already has slider sets that will help cut down on your problems with the game.

Just go choose which to try out and have fun with it. No game is perfect out of the box...luckily for us, 2k has given us the ability to fix(for the most part) what is broken.

Just a suggestion, but next time you want to make something up about PIP and seem legitimate, you should probabaly make sure you pick an even number:wink:

CPU points in the pain is a problem as it was last year, but not quite as bad as 13 was. I lowered CPU to 45 and put my human sliders for offensive rebounds to 55. Seems to work nicely for me.

Same here man,

One game the CPU shot 97% from the field and scored 145 PIP on me,,.on 5 minute quarters...then somehow, MJ got subbed in 4th quarter and he wasn't even on the team...SMH 2k

I've been buying 2k for 13 years now, this might be the first year I take it back

So I picked up 2K14 today immediately get home from college and get playing Association.

First game against the Clippers they scored 119 points with 101 inside the paint. Could not do anything about it at all. All star difficulty with default sim sliders.

I mean this is a complete joke! Everytime they got the ball they just wanted to get inside and score. I mean what is this?

Could not block shots at all due to them making everything inside. This is the worst Interior Defense Ive seen in ANY 2K game ever. Last years was on point but this is a joke. Its like every time they get near the hoop its an easy layup or Dunk. I cant be the only one who is thinking WTF here

Lost the 2nd game to the Warriors again giving up 70 odd points inside got absolutley killed 116 to 105. I mean All star difficulty wasnt this hard last year on Default Sim so whats happening here

Seriously, this is the first year that PIP is quite normal, I've had quite a few games keeping the CPU under 40 PIP. I'm calling shenanigans on this bloke.

While I haven't experienced as bad as the TC, I agree that the cpu seems to score in the paint a little to easily. The worst part is that I have guys on my team missing point blank layups with little to no contact from defenders. It can be pretty frustrating at times.

When 2k said they increased contact inside to make scoring inside more difficult, I knew the only players being effected would be the users and not the ai.

The computer is stupid with points in the paint. It's the same thing every year. Obviously we suck and need to put forth more effort in keeping them out of the paint. But the CPU should not attack the paint that hard core.

I had a game where Caron Butler and Michael Beasley were working the paint like they were Dwight Howard. Their games do no revolve around the paint. So why would 2k program them to play there?

PIP is kind of high in 2K14, teams with 54 PIP and 78 total.

I know how to slow it down but the problem the CPU is using players who mainly shoot 3's, got them driving and making contested layups.

I can be standing right in front of the ball handler and the defender gets knocked back, they get into the paint and D12 is standing there yet he will occasionally contest the shots.

regardless of how ridiculous the OPs claim is the game still has everyone attacking the paint like mad men. 2K needs to fix their rosters since every big man post up and does fadeaways, and the PG's attack attack attack and barely run plays.

The other thread says this. One main reason why CPU attacks the basket relentlessly is because of difficulty. Its somehow hard coded or maybe their tendencies jack up as well like in their attributes.Try at least playing 10 games in Superstar sim then lower it to all star. You'll see major difference.
