rebounding is completely broken to the point of almost being a game-killer. i swear, about 15-20 percent of the time i hit the rebound button my player won't jump or grab for the ball. i lose out on so many rebounds from this garbage. not to mention my CPU-controlled teammates aren't great at box out or going after the ball either.

Noticed this too, especially on offense. Not sure if it was me not switching to that player, but that player doesn't even attempt a rebound even if he lead the league in double-doubles last year.

Slider adjustments definitely take a lot of the aggravation out though.

What's kind of "nice" about having some of the same issues as last year is that some of the slider fixes have already been well tested.

i would like to have the a ability to save my mycareer mode whenever i want. and save a backup file for it. instead of relying on the terrible 2k servers / autosave. its stupid the way it works right now. why did i just play a game and then get kicked out of the mode without an ability to save the game? why didnt it autosave before kicking me out of the mode? why do you need to contact "the servers" in order for the autosave to work? ridiculous. playing games over again is tedious and breaks all game immersion.

more reach in fouls for steal button spammers

bring back being able to swith in teamup when some random leaves and put in a SG at the center position.

Touches. Bigs (PF's/C's) need more touches and shots. Below average guards and swing players are shooting significantly more shots than PF's and C's (even though the big men are the better players on certain teams). There's a significant difference in the amount of shots taken among guards/swingmen and bigs.

Fix the logic for which team gets the ball after someone knocks it out. Ive seen multiple instances when the wrong team is awarded the ball after an out of bounds play.

if you want to witness some of the frustrating problems with this game, pick the Warriors and play against the Knicks in madison square garden on Simulation/All Star settings.

Tyson Chandler gets every offensive rebound even when out of position. Carmello and Amare hitting contested turn-arounds over and over. J.R. Smith and Felton hitting tightly contested jumpers in your face. nothing you can do. somehow they can compete without having to get hardly any open shots.

if you want to witness every frustrating problem with this game, pick the Warriors and play against the Knicks in madison square garden on Sim/Allstar settings.

prepare for endless cheap garbage. Tyson Chandler gets every offensive rebound even when out of position. Carmello and Amare hitting contested turn-arounds over and over. J.R. Smith and Felton hitting tightly contested jumpers in your face. nothing you can do. no earned shots by the knicks - they get all their points off of cheap offensive boards and contested garbage shots.

Sounds like something to try tonight, because I'm a masochist.

I had a similar experience with the Rockets except it was Harden, Lin, and Beverley barreling into me repeatedly and then hitting 3's repeatedly on kickouts.

Adjsuted the sliders and it was a lot better even though I got cheesed by semi-contested 3's in the fourth quarter after building a lead. Then again, this happens to the Warriors in real life. Partly my fault for not taking care of the ball, adjusting defense and controlling game tempo at the end, and I chose to keep jumper defense sliders at default, but what sealed the loss was missing a point blank inbounds pass and David Lee running the ball out of Curry's hands with his knee.

Some of this is due to the overpowered momentum system where your team completely loses it's mind at the end of a run. I wish we had momentum sliders available to tone down both negative and positive momentum effects.

i recommend making it so that your progress doesnt get erased. when i play a game its not because i want it to get erased. give me an option to save it or autosave the game when it ends. what the fu**.

The game would be pretty amazing if they just tweak and fix some things.

Contact and contested shot success rate should be toned down.

Hands up on defense needs to work better and be more effective without getting stuck on contact or getting called for bad fouls.

Rebounding is still broke. The defense box outs and going after loose balls is still a major problem.

Reach in foul rate needs to be increased.

After I attempt a block to bother my opponent's shot, and force the miss, when I jump again to try and grab the rebound, the player jump to block a shot again rather than jump for the rebound.

seems like a lot of wide open shots are missing. i repeatedly miss wide open 3 after wide open 3 with the Warriors. meanwhile the CPU can force up junk contact layups and contested turn-arounds and drill them.

We should state what settings were playing on....

I've seen a miraculous turn around jumper hit maybe twice, while some are seeing it hit multiple times every game it seems...

I hate that 2k will most likely cave to the fact people are missing shots and well have 2k8 all over again post patch

Gotcha, I play on All-Star-Superstar/ Default....I was going to make a thread about this...even though I am a sim guy I haven't played on simulation mode the last couple of years....I have honestly found default to be more enjoyable...mostly because of the non shooting slider changes that come with simulation mode... I think they are outdated..

That would explain the foul/ made shots differential were seeing...
