For the 250 GB (Xbox slim) all you need is to open up your computer and connect the HDD, be aware that the motherboard will temper a little bit with the HDD and a simple workaround will be needed.

As for the old Xbox 360 HDDs, just buy a transfer kit for 5$ off of ebay and use xport 360 it really is simple

Does anybody know the classic team's hex edit codes to edit team colors, I have the regular teams, need the classic team's so I can change 96 bulls sock & shoe color.

Why should he do that if he can just use any usb flash drive to transfer the files between the xbox and the pc?

^ exactly. all of that other stuff seems like a hassle.

ok back on topic .... I think i found the hex code for the current uni style , 90's uni style and 80-60's uni style. The only thing is when i ever a make a change, the game crash...

Hope to have better news in the next few days. Spent 6 hours on this today. Wanted a break of trying to change classic teams type might go back to that....

hokupguy, what if you took a team that already had the retro style jereseys and replaced those with say the ABA nets style jerseys, then just chagned the court, colors/half court and what not, would that work or no? Would that give you a workable retro nets team, I want to do this with a Nets, Braves, Bullets, and Royals team eventually

This is what I do. I upgraded from my old Xbox to the new Slim style xbox, and right now, my brother is using the old xbox as a link to netflix (with a USB for storage) so I basically just have a transfer cable connected to the old hard drive laying around all the time. Saves a lot of time, since I just use modio to go through the HDD, and dont need a separate program to access the data on the USB.

yes and no... yes graphicilly , but the audio no. And it would be off and also they neck lines would have to match unless you find the the uni in hex within the roster and change the neck line to sock and shoe to "8001" And they also would not be the default unis.

the USB flash drive should have a lot of memory, it isn't as simple as copy pasting it to the drive and then to the xbox. I don't have one but the other solutions are fairly simple also.
