    Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

    hey vlad when making the next reditor can you consider making a global edit option. It would be nice to pick an attribute, like shooting and blocking, and be able to add or subtract a value of x (10,20, 50) from ALL of the players. This would be a nice addition to the reditor. Hope you consider this suggestion

      last/current version of reditor has that all ready. More things will be added and not taken away in the next release. as far as i know from speaking to vlad.

          yea but when you change the code the game crash to the short length is not the same last year the whole uni style change.

          short. = 60's-80's
          med. = 90's
          long = current

          We will have to wait for reditor for this to work right..

            I did the hex code last year for 2K11, so I have some background in doing it. But I just wasn't sure if you could do it for the legend teams, since you have to unlock them this year as opposed to last year all the legend teams were available. Are the hex codes for the legend teams available in this thread? Like which number corresponds to which team?

              i posted the hex edited setting folder with all possilbe teams and uni and nike id shoes unlocked about a week after the game was releasesed you might want to look back and find the link.... So you can still edit team 1 on team 2 colors and use them.

                So I was going to post this separately but I guess its not necessary.
                I created each team from the 1990-1991 season, 12 man rosters. I was going to ask if anyone would be willing to change the shorts length for each team. I have no idea how much work that is but it doesn't seem possible as of right now anyway. I also don't know how much interest there is in this roster.

                As of now, I can't put players on the correct teams unless I do it in Association which sucks. Is this editable through Hex? I also read that this will be fixed when the DLC comes out?

                        It's simple all what you need to do is change all 0140 to 0142 for eg. for nets we have 3 unis 2xCurrent and 1 retro you have to change all 3. Other teams have more or less unis. Check this out it is made on Xbox (small sample)

                          yes but do you not see how the shorts appear , its not a not fair trade to me.

                            Hokupguy are you talking about the texture/transparency of the shorts? If this is the best anyone can figure out I would rather play with those shorts from the NEts/Thunder pic than the current longer shorts.

                            Is there also a separate code for tighter jerseys? They are very loose/baggy fitting when combined with the smaller shorts. The retro teams currently in the game have tighter jerseys also.

                            If anyone can figure this out I would appreciate it as I know its probably time consuming to play around with.

                              the correct jersey and shorts type when hex editing cause crashs when ever you try use them. It will be possible with the new reditor with no issue.

                                That sucks. If I find the motivation I might get started on a mid 90's roster in the meantime.
