Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

    Hey guys, a question.

I am assigning shoes to all the players, but they are probly reset to generic shoes when the official updates hit? is there a way to keep the shoes assigned?

and is there a faster way to assign shoes to a whole set of players instead of doing it one by one?

    thanks in advance!

We'll see, but it's very doubtful. Last year it was possible to only change a numeric value, which was used after "png" prefix.
As for renaming players, teams, etc.... yes, possible, have tried that already.

According to the PC version of the game, the files are still there, but their names have _ char in front, like "_png2110.iff".
So.... probably they are not usable on console games anymore, but they can be easily activated for the PC version by just a simple renaming...
No he just said that they went threw and removed file that should be there anymore. But it wasnt his dept.

hmm 2110 is Bryan Austin who the hell that? anyways V you think it would work like the lo res court that have been on the pc for every type of set up?

Re: editing roster w/ hex editor?

after spending the last 3 hours working with the roster and settings file and trying many things. Seems the the game will not read any file that has been edited even after rehashing and resigning. Tried it with both modio and horizon.

This the 1st time i have hit this road block with any 360 game. Not sure where to go from here.

Not the news you guys want to hear.

If that what i have read so far is true...Thank EA and everyone other developer out there for not being able to produce a title that can complete in this genre, and allowing 2K to basically do whatever they want, including deleting all the things that allowed roster gurus to improve the product as they hoped. And vise versa for Madden owners. Imagine 2K, but without the ability to play a single season mode and not being able to control rosters in season, especially for offline gamers. This is why monopolies are a bad thing in business. Fortunately for XBox gamers like me, 2K12 is a solid game, made 10 times better by people like Vlad and Hokup, etc. Fingers still crossed though. Because I like the look and gameplay of this one.

Well if we cant get the game to accepted rehashed and resigned files on the 360 we are ****ed. Which means 2k12 will be our nfl 2k5. I am still hold out hope that there is a work around or it something weird on my side.

Oh man, No Hex Editing? LD2k and everyone in 2K had to know about the XBOX's hex editing.... I'm starting to think this was cause of online MyPlayer for Blacktop? If We couldn't hex edit, could've at least given use the Team Editor from CHoops2K8.... If we can't make NBA 2K13 look like an NBA game, (Yes, the socks, colors, etc....) Then I guess we play the waiting game... Gameplay is probably the best yet, but the accuracy of authentic colors, shoes, missing players, etc. is very important....
