from what i have been told by my 2k contact, the words , "hex-editing", REDitor" , "Vlad" and "hokupguy" are 4 letter worlds to some of there dept heads. I dont think there goign to give us nothing.....

Don't they understand that the efforts of guys like Vlad, hokupguy, and chrome--and all the roster makers--had people downloading rosters for 2k12 not only through the summer but up until and beyond the release of 2k13? How is this a negative?

I understand that Reditor and hex-editing allows users to access recondite knowledge of the game-coding architecture, but even still 2k's primary competition has been unable to capitalize and monetize given the availability of this information and the tools.

Quit talking to your 2k contacts about hex editing they are just gonna take more out next year! This is what started this crap in the first place with the damn Sonics/nets jersey issue last year. Hokupguy I love the work you have done in helping out Jason with his awesome rosters but I feel we should keep the hex editing on the Down Low from here on out.

No more talking to your 2k guys about it.....

I think the reason they are doing this is because their only competition is out of the picture so they feel we will buy the game regardless of the ability to hex edit. I hope they are happy. All they did was take out the chance of having a really good game. It's not like we are making them lose sales. So why stop us?

They didn't take out hex editing completely. They only made it harder. Vlad seemed to figure it out but hokupguy didn't. Chrome is going to release a resigning system for 2k13 today and that will probably make it easier to hex edit.

has anyone found what offset rosters (accessory edits) start....

and you know how the codes break down?

for example: 2k12: XX XX XX XX - XX XX XX XX - XX XX XX XX - XX XX XX XX
first set for shoe base, team color 1, team color 2, headband


as well has team codes and sock color change code


(I cant find anything in the coding this year.... I just stare at all the letters and numbers and get mad )

Dude 2k knows and if its something major they will patch it .Like the title update that was just released. Seems odd a update is out as soon as the memory mod was found. Yet they can't update the damn A.I on defense.

Good work boys! I'm really excited about getting Dr. J, Kareem and all the other guys back on their classic teams. I like 13 but thought I was going to be playing 12 more than 13. Great news.
