Could you email me that same info? Once bedwardsroy, Swagger(now helping us with potentials and testing), and I finish up our roster for the ps3 I want to creat some draft classes. I don't care about using real players from real life, so fictional draft classes is good to me!

You downloaded scholz? Glad you like. If you find anything off or have any suggestions let me know so I can make any necessary changes to the next version. I gotta get this excel done for swagger and Irishsalsa and then draft class three will be up. Should be by tomorrow.

Shoot me an email at [email protected] irishsalsa so I can have yours.

Yes, I've used both of them. I usually sim through seasons and only play the playoffs on my franchises. I found your draft classes to be well made. No complaints. I am even making a new version of your first draft class with different names and looks for every player so I can reuse it later on in association. Glad the third one is coming out too..

Thanks a lot man. And you actually do what I was going to suggest.... sometimes I just go through and change names and appearances just to get some variety in there and make it difficult for myself to remember who the stars and scrubs are.

Also, throughout the season I occasionally go and change shot tendencies depending on their players role on the team. If they are the best player on the team I will increase their tendencies so they can score appropriately.

Re: Fictional Draft Classes for your Association

Nice work, last year I spent a lot of time editing fictional draft classes, it took me half the year to realize I'd be better off just creating new draft classes and saving them rather then just editing them only in a particular association.

I've had fun with it because I'd have a whole personality in mind when creating rooks.

A lot of times I'd enjoy seeing the fictional guys more than real future draft classes.

Also, I was thinking about doing a scouting report on each of the drafts in this thread. Give the draft an overall grade, talk about what position is strong and weak, and maybe talk about the top prospects.... maybe give them a little back story or something. I know it sounds kind of corny, but I would be willing to do it if anyone was even slightly interested lol.

Cool then. Ill go ahead and finish that today. Ill probably post a preview on here and attach the complete version in my post because I'm sure its going to be longgg lol. If you're anything like me with these sports games though you'll enjoy it. Oh, and just to let you know.... just cause I write it doesn't mean its 100 percent truth. I might "predict" a guy to be a top 5 talent but I might be wrong just like the analysts in real life lol. That's why you better make sure you do your scouting. This will be used mostly to give these players some kind of back story and personality.

I tried to upload this as an attachment but it just wasn't working for me so I had to put it all up here. But anyway, here you go as promised guys. If you enjoy it, let me know and I will do this for all of my draft classes.

                              Fictional Class 1

                              Overall Grade C+

This class boasts a large amount of participants from last year’s snooze fest of a championship game. For those of you that don't recall, Syracuse destroyed Duke 87 - 63. That Syracuse team was lead by three dynamic freshman. 2 guards Junior Lucas and Gerald Welch and the always controversial point guard Adam Cameron.

Cameron, Welch and Lucas were the 11th, 29th and 40th rated prospects coming out of high school and had the fourth rated freshman class. Cameron made the statement the day he arrived on campus "fourth class my ***. Watch us win a championship". And they did just that as Cameron averaged 14.9, 6.1, 6.2. While Cameron lead the team statistically, many say he was not a team leader. Cameron had several incidents that caused him to miss games. He was suspended for skipping a team practice to get a tattoo on his neck. He was also suspended for ten games for an incident that occurred at practice. Sources say that Cameron pushed and attempted to punch former Syracuse point guard and now graduate assistant Gerry McNamara. One NBA GM said "the kid definitely has NBA talent but I wouldn't touch him with a six foot pole".

While it was a debate throughout the year, most people have agreed that Ernest Jefferies from Oklahoma is the best point guard in this draft. Jefferies, the fourth rated prospect out of high school last year, took Oklahoma by storm and took Senior Devin Humphrey's (projected to go in the second round of the draft this year) starting spot. Ernest Jefferies ended the year with 15.2 points and 8.6 assists. Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger said "Ernest is one of the most unselfish kids I have ever been around.... almost to a fault. If he starts taking advantage of his physical abilities, he will be an unstoppable force in the NBA".

Other notable point guards in this draft include Ohio State senior Shane Buchanan (14.5 points and 5.4 assists), Notre Dame freshman Fausto Valencia (12.8 points, 4.3 assists) and Oregon State senior Bill York (10.6, 4.0 assists, 2.1 steals).

The strength of this draft is at the Small Forward position. Last year's defensive player of the year Ohio State's Glen Braxton, may arguably be the best player in the draft. The 6'8 222 lbs. sophomore lead The Buckeyes to the Elite 8 and averaged 16.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 2.4 steals. Many experts wonder if Braxton has star potential. When asked about this, Braxton calmly said, "No matter where I go, I will work harder than anyone and continue to improve".

Chances are if you don't think Glen Braxton is the best player in the draft, you are giving that title to North Carolina sophomore Forward Jon Trent. Although the Tar Heels were eliminated in the second round of the tournament, Trent had an excellent year. Trent finished the year with a very impressive 19.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. When asked about Trent, Roy Williams said, “he's without a doubt one of the smartest players I've ever coached. I am sure that he will be very successful in the NBA".

Other notable small forwards in this year's draft are Wooden Award winner Kenneth Dudley from Oregon (21.7, 5.3, 7.5), Lefteris Dugonics from Greece, and Florida senior Cody Heyward (13.9 points and 6.9 rebounds).

The drafts weakest position by far is at center, but many experts believe that UMass freshman Albert Larson will be a star. Prior to the start of last season, Larson had committed to play ball at Texas. However, after Larson's mom passed away from breast cancer, he decided to attend his mother's alma mater. Coach Derek Kellog said, "I really loved coaching this kid. We have been calling him the gentle giant since he stepped foot on campus. Even with the monster year he had here, I still feel like the world hasn't seen what he is capable of". Larson averaged 23.1 points and 11.5 rebounds his one year at UMass. However, people continue to state that his monster numbers were a result of the weak competition and also question Larson's strength. None the less, he is rated as the top center in the draft.

Other notable players in the draft include the nephew of John Starks, California shooting guard Kris Starks. Also, sophomore power forward Luke Macy who lead Georgia Tech to a sweet sixteen is predicted to go in the top 10 or possibly the top 5. Macy averaged 17.4, 7.9, 1.0 last year.

                              Top 5 prospects:
                              1) Glen Braxton. Sf Ohio State 6'8 222, defensive player of the year 16.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 2.4 steals per game

                              2) Jon Trent Sf North Carolina 6'6 246 19.9 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game

                              3) Ernest Jefferies PG Oklahoma 6'3 179, 15.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 8.6 assists per game

                              4) Luke Macy PF Gerogia Tech 6'10 235 17.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists per game

                              5) Albert Larson C UMass 6'11, 251 23.1 points, 11.5 rebounds, 0.8 assists per game
