As a rookie roster/attribute editor. Am I correct in feeling that the Overall ratings are worthless/to be ignored? And to just focus on the individual attributes? And whatever the players OVR is, so be it?

They are not completely worthless, but I would focus most of your attention on individual attributes

Brief update:

All there is left to do is about 5 more initial classic teams and D-Leaguer's apperances. Here is everything that has been done:

-Every NBA player & Free Agent has complete overhaul on ratings, abilities, tendencies, and hot spots for more realistic gameplay
-90% of classic teams have been completely edited 100% (thanks to portlandblazer for his CAPS). overhauled ratings, tendencies, abilities, hotspots, and hotzones
-Dleaguers have been completely redone. overhauled ratings, tendencies, abilities, hotspots, and hotzones. PLAYER APPEARANCES need to be done before I release this roster. Help with this would be appreciated!

-Note: every player that has been on an NBA team since opening day will be on this file either on an NBA team, Free Agency, or in the NBDL.

-We will be adding other classic teams throughout after the initial release.

-Converted 1990 Cavs to 1989 Cavs (Better record, Ron Harper)

All NBDL Player ratings redone
28 of 34 Classic teams completely RE-DONE
Current rosters and FAs


This will not include:
NBDL Appearances
Additional classic teams referenced in previous post - with hex edited courts and jerseys
Sig shots
Coach profile overhaul with brand new coach grades
Updated coaches (current and classic - partial credit to PJT)
My hex accessories colors
Vanwolfhawk's playbooks

The spread sheets are ready to go, I just have to paste them in once I get the editor for xbox360. The PC version is 95% done.

Can you fix some of the eye colors on the classic rosters? Laimbeer and Walton should have blue eyes.

As you can see, if you switch Utah and Phoenix, you'll have the NBA playoff contenders in the top 16. If you take Rubio and Aldridge out of their respective lineups, their teams will go down. Remember that Utah, Phoenix, and Houston were battling for a playoff spot this season.
