I really liked what I saw from these new sliders. I had to WORK for this win. I was trying new things on defense and I also had to adjust my defensive matchups and settings throughout the entire game, where as before i would set them and barely have to do much after. Hopefully this wasn't a one game affair and it plays out like this from here on out, but so far i'm really digging these new sliders and superstar is key to making it all work together perfectly.Last edited by ~: AkaDemiK :~; 01-13-2013, 07:38 PM.Comment

How do you figure these 3pt ratings out? some are very low
For example i don't understand how Durant has a 80 3pt rating only

I felt like some of the Nets players have really bad 3pt ratings though. JJ has been good from 3 and his rating is in the mid 70's. Also gerald wallace is servicable from 3 but his rating was like a 62 i think? every time i took a 3 with gerald the announcers acted like itw as Shaq taking a 3 or somethin lol.
Not a huge deal though, I raised JJ and Gerald a few points and lowered Deron a point or two and it all worked out.Comment

i was and gerald wallace shot 10% from 3 thru 5 games all open looks too.. and the announcers laughed at me when i tried to take one.. so i had to up his rating. JJ couldnt hit one either.Comment

I can make an Association-day-1 file with the real injuries on via roster editor if you want since you can edit fxg file

So ignore stuff like Joe Johnson 703pt when hes one of the best at it while KD has the same rating as Damian lilard i would just like to know how he comes up with these ratingsComment

as with anything, there will be personal preference & adjustments that may need to be made. as many have said, gameplay is key though. a lot of times people look at overalls & single ratings & make determinations as to how they pan out.
we use the fact & logic that most ratings are offset & impacted by other ratings. for example; blocks & rebounding ARE determined by the "rebound rating" but they are also impacted by speed, stregth & vert ratings.
that being said... Joe Johnson has been a little better this year but he (over time) has been EXTREMELY streaky. one game he goes 1 for 10 from three & the next he goes 6 for 8. we have different formulas (with some outliers & exceptions)but for him for example, you might wanna look at his consistency & shoot off dribble rating. & play some multiple games to see if the experience is the same as you feel it'll be by looking at the rating only.
for Durant look at all the factors in his rating(S) if his 3 point rating were much higher (considering some of his other ratings & sig skills) he would NEVR miss & thats just not realistic.
its a lot to explain our rational so to be redundant id say to play multiple games & see if there is a good feel for how players play.
Gerald Wallace LIKLEY needs that bump though. thats something that will be in the update. (note: shot ratings also determine how the defense guards you so thats something to take into account with some oplayers that will get sagged off of.)Comment

If anyone wants it, I have the data ready to go for fixing the issue with the international players. I can load this on the current Sim World file and post it for anyone interested.
All I did was remove the international players from their teams and placed them in free agency. Then the user can decide what to do with them.
This is just for in the meantime until Yellz releases his newest file.Comment
