Re: (XBox360) CWSapp757/Dreece NBA 2K13 Realistic Fictional Draft Classes

Hey fellas, I'm new here on OS. I just want to let you guys know that I have a draft class in the works, it's going to be the best FICTIONAL draft class of all time on PS3, no s***. To me, players having the right LOOK means just as much to me as player behavior... I am confident in the fact that I design the best custom faces. Don't believe me? Download my 'Prototype' draft class on the PS3. Just look up my old username: IanMR.

I want you to check out the faces. They look very realistic. I've edited almost everything, just a few tweaks here and there, because I want my DC to be compatible with Bedwardsroy19 rosters. My 'prototype' DC is good to go if you have normal rosters. Just lower the potential a little bit. That was my only mistake.

It'll take you 5 minutes MAX to just gloss over the class, check out the look of the players. I'm especially proud of a couple of my european prospects, Ricardo Garibaldi (SF, Italy) and Peja Vugrinec (SG, Serbia). Their faces are the best yoy can download.

Anyways, keep your eye out for "The BEST Fictional DC (For Beds Roster)"
just look up my username: IanMRandles.

I want feedback, feedback, feedback. And I'll take suggestions, questions, and I would love it if you guys told everyone you know in the PSN community that 'IanMRandles' is about to drop the sickest Draft Class ever within the next couple days. Here's a few details:

Top 2 players at every position:
      PG:
Anthony Holland (75 Overall, from UCONN).
Kevin Banks (73 Overall, from Kentucky).
      SG:
Donta Verne (82 Overall, from UNC).
Michael Lindemann (78 Overall, [I forget where he's from]).
      SF:
Andre Brooks (79 Overall, from Long Beach State).
Darius Morris (74 Overall, from Arizona).
      PF:
Jevon Parker (77 Overall, from Kentucky).
Karl Morris (75 Overall, from Michigan).
      C:
Jared Cole (81(!) Overall, from Miami).
Jacob Hansen (76(?) Overall, from FSU).

(Note: Ben Coles (PF, 71 Overall, St. Louis) is a rebound monster).

Welcome to OS but this is a XBOX360 thread my man. The designers of this project only run on XBOX so we can't help you there. PS3 has a draft class project using beds roster so you might want to find that thread and post there.

Also, I know your new here so I'll give you a piece of advice.... people REALLY take it personal when you come in to their thread and advertise your stuff or post something that has absolutely nothing to do with their thread. Its no biggie to me since I know you're new here but I can almost guarantee you that you'll make enemies quick like that my man.

Re: (XBox360) CWSapp757/Dreece NBA 2K13 Realistic Fictional Draft Classes

What's up guys, I was in here a few pages ago.

I checked out a few rosters and decided to go with the trifecta roster/sliders, with a few tweaks (and not doing everyones rotations for them).

I am, of course, using your draft classes, starting from 1. I went straight to this offseason, wasted some time writing up end of year results from a season that got played IRL, and wrote up a little draft analysis of what I wanted to do based on the in-game scouting and the info you guys provide.

I went with a pretty bland/vanilla Emmanuel Griffin (7) and JoJo (18), missed my boy Dennis Scott by 2 picks in the second round, and took Jeff Ingram (36) instead. Ingram's my reserve this year, but looked like a guy that had a solid roleplayer skillset if I missed Scott, which I thought I would. I doubt, unfortunately, that I'll be discovering any "hidden gems" just yet.

JoJo starts, and had a monster game opening night. He was lights out on open looks, and even "stole" several points by finishing alley-oops I was throwing to other players. I lost that game, though, and afterwards looked up how to actually call my own plays so I could spread the ball (and generally play) better. Add a few simmed games, and JoJo is looking more like a (fantastic) rookie. He definitely rebounds well for a guard (part of the reason I lead the league in rebounding?), and he also managed 7 assists, by far his highest of the season, in my most recent game.

I was starting Griffin too, since my team is about that bad, but he broke his finger, so I moved Jermaine O'Neal (signed in FA) in to start and Griffin to the bench (though he can play through, his ratings have taken a temporary hit). He does okay, I wish he'd dunk more near the basket, which he's great at, instead of going for layups, which he's not. He's a god at the FT line, points guaranteed when he draws contact on a shot. He's even made a few open 3s for me, so I'm hoping he develops well and I can really put that versatility to use.

Just in case, I saw Thomas Robinson on the trade block, and was able to negotiate a deal for him and Tim Olbrecht from the Rockets in exchange for picks and a prospect of my own. Griffin's going to reserve until he heals, O'Neal will go back to Sixth Man, and Robinson will start to give me an idea what he's like. JoJo's starting spot is just about guaranteed for the next 4 years, but Griffin will have some competition!

I finally won my first game, and it was against the Bulls even. I thought I was gonna get blown out after the first quarter, but pulled together for three incredibly solid quarters after that, which has me pretty stoked about the team. I just added a link to my dynasty page in my sig if you guys wanna check it how the draft went down, and how my rookies are doing (I doubt anyone else is, lol).

Thanks again for your advice, and providing these draft classes that add major depth and playability to my game!

Just made a trade in my Orlando Association that will allow Bryce Baker to get more PT. He was behind Jameer Nelson and Louis Williams, but I moved Jameer, so Baker is solid at the #2 PG spot. I really want to develop him into a starter, or at least a beastly 6th man.

Also, I have Chris Bishop on my Orlando team, and I wanna share a quick list of my favorite players that I've played with in all of your draft classes, so here goes:
                Spoiler

EDIT: I used DC5 in my first season of my current Association and I'm using tyklug's DC2 for my second season. Looking at my list, I may need to use DC2 or DC3 next year, as I haven't played with very many players from those classes.

My freaking heart broke when norfolk state lost smh. Sigh, well I like a few players on the Texas team (Julio Carpenter and Travis Buchanan) and Wisconsin so I guess I will pull for those two. We wil find out those final four participants in a couple hours.

Hey guys. Unfortunately, I have a family emergency that is going to cause me to be absent from the threads for a little bit. It may be a couple of days but it could be a little longer depending on the severity of the situation (I'm not 100 percent sure at the moment). I plan on posting the rest of the results tonight that lead up to the Final Four but then I will be gone shortly after. As usual, Dreece can answer any question regarding the previous draft classes and upcoming draft class. Just know that this is not a permanant halt to the project but simply a temporary pause. Hopefully you guys have enough classes to hold you over for now. Be easy my friends.
