I'm not one of those people but I still keep tabs & I'm quite interested in big man that I can trust to score in the low post and protect the rim so Kenzee King of Michigan catches my eye. The guy is the #3 best post scorer and #2 best post defender not to mention a 2nd round talent. I will have my eye on him when I start my association even if the guy won't be in the draft till the 2nd season...who knows I might go a different way by then

- Who’s the best Finnish basketball player of all time? Teemu Selanne! Wait, that’s the wrong sport (shout out to you hockey fans though). All jokes aside, if you have never seen a high profile basketball player from Finland Joel Honka is about to change all that. The spectacular point guard that has been putting up big numbers and gaining unlimited amounts of attention has announced that he will be entering this year’s upcoming draft. When asked about his expectations about where he should go, Honka was very honest: “My agent tells me that I will definitely go in the top 15 but I want to be a top five player”. I currently have Joel Honka rated 15<SUP>th</SUP> on my Big Board but if enough of those college players decide to return to school, his dream could become a reality.

- Well we said that Baylor could possibly have the best backcourt in the country but we didn’t think that they would show their dominance this quick. With the season approaching the end of the first quarter, these two young men (PG J.R. Williams and SG Jameel Bethea) make a great argument to be considered the best back court in the country. J.R. Williams is averaging 15.5 points, 7.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game. The freshman Bethea on the other hand, had his breakout game against Texas A&M – CC scoring 42 points. He is currently averaging 20.2 points and 4.0 rebounds. The Bears are currently 9 – 0 at the moment and are heading towards the end of the calendar year with a ton of momentum.

- The Kentucky Wildcats are struggling to maintain their footing and they haven’t even reached their conference schedule yet. Sophomore Center Jaron Branch explains that the team is “pretty much miserable”. Although the Wildcats are not the Wildcats of old, they are still a very good team that started off the season in the top 25. After the departure of the sharp shooting point guard Antonio Montgomery, the Wildcats have struggled BIG TIME shooting the ball. Not only that but their two best players (C Dawan Davidson and C Jaron Branch) play the same position. I’m sure that many people (like Dreece) love to see the Wildcats struggle but I am hoping that the team can pull it together.

- For those of you that follow the high school basketball scene, you know that PG Reggie Rice was the #8 high school when he signed with Stanford. When you are a top ten prospect, the expectations are high and Rice has not been living up to them. After ten games, Rice has found himself deeper on the bench than expected and only played 110 minutes in the last two games. Coaches say that it is not only his inconsistent play but his attitude towards the game. We know that Rice has the ability to step it up but he is going to really have to work hard to do so.

- Utah Sophomore Center Kyle Butler is finally showing the potential that many saw at the end of last season. The soft spoken center is averaging 15.7 points, 9.9 rebounds and has led the Utes to an 11 – 0 record. Some scouts believe that he could be a lottery pick in this year’s draft.

- After a brief conversation with Blindside, Ronyell and Dreece, we have decided to the weakest position as far as NBA prospects is Power Forward. So for Christmas I am bringing you a list of my top five NBA PF prospects.

Now the question that many of you are probably asking… “Can any of these guys be a franchise player for me”? The answer is no. Well, I take that back. There is a chance that Justin Day could be that player but he needs to continue to improve his game. I am not sure if he is leaning towards entering the draft this year so I plan to catch up with him and see if he has given it any thought. Merry Christmas.

Mine all depends on what Detroit Johnson does with his player option at the end of this year. If he opts out we will be searching for a starting PG like Heller. If he stays then I can concentrate on strengthening the front court with a PF like Barry who I would love to get to pair with DeAndre White, or settle for Ladarius Stephens. I'm pretty sure we are still another good player and year of progression away from competing for a playoff spot so should still be in the lottery.

Yeah I'm really hoping Detroit stays as I don't want to have to replace PG when there are so many good big guys coming out. But with my style of play PG is more important than a PF. Especially with having White at C for the next couple of years.

You plan on being in the lottery again?! Larry Barry is a top 3 pick..

I don't have a 1st rounder this year so I gotta be creative with how I move forward. Since I plan on making the playoffs I will get to shop to shop from the free agent elite to fill my immediate needs.

PS Don't load up on too many alpha males early in your association. That's the main cause of people getting bored and stop playing the game because it gets to easy and its no longer fun to carry on multiple seasons.

Bishop is that piece to build around..don't waste his talent..improve around him and not through him...if you can understand that analogy lol

Oh I'm with you bro. My plans are already in place. And going much better than anticipated. I'm 2 games back from the 8 seed at the all star break. Skyler Hyun is #1 in pure point. Bishop is sitting pretty in the MVP Race. I want a defensive big to put next to him and we should be looking like a guaranteed playoff seed next year

My boy SKYLER!! Lol told you man..don't have to have a megastar to build good players. He was my idea Sapp created him I made slight tweaks to get him exactly how I wanted.

Those are my favorite type of guys to make. The ones who nobody pays attention too. Even though a couple of my guys bout to draw MAJOR attention lol I still focus a lot of energy into getting the mid level guys to be very effective on the court.

And damn next season bro! I'm going for it this year! Once I get in...anythings possible

Man I took on ORL last night. Goodrich got his @ss replaced by Ayo. It was not a fun game for my Jazz. I really should do something with my own dynasty too. I lost all the info I had saved for the rest of last season so I may have to do a sneaky fast forward
