If you guys don't mind me asking. What is exactly happening when you notice your file has corrupted?

Mine happened when my nephew thought it was ok to eject the game while it was trying to save...froze the system.

Let me ask all of you your opinion on something. I have never done an Association with less than 82 games. Lately though, I have FINALLY started to play the game and have enjoyed it SO much that I want to have more control over how my season goes. Because of that I have considered playing a shorter season.

What are your experiences with having less games each season and would amount would you guys suggest I go with as opposed to the standard 82?




Oh, and hope you guys have been looking at the last spreadsheet I sent you. DC11 is coming a lot sooner than you think. After that, on to two of my favorite drafts.... 12 and 13. And since my brain is flying all over the place and I have a few minutes before my annoying boss arrives, let me rate my top five drafts (only use draft class 6 through 13 because the League incorporates the first five classes).

#5 Draft Class 6
Blackshear.... need I say more. Well, I guess I can. After finally playing the game I have gained an entirely new respect for Ayo Wilson. It was so satisfying to rack up 7 steals with him against a good point guard like Zachary Grinnage. Wilson has become one of my favorites. This class also has a lot of underrated players hiding lower in the draft.

#4 Draft Class 12
While this class isn't the strongest, we have another defensive specialist in Zaire Mutumbo and four Operation Sports guys. I don't know if they want me to spoil who they are but the players are Ao Long, Dontae Brown, Victor Gavin and Chris Valentine and all five of the before mentioned players are deadly in their own right.

#3 Draft Class 10
Of course the class has Chris Bishop but I actually think this class has a lot more than just Bishop. J.C. Graham, Treyvon Dixon and Montego Hennessy are all top tier players but then you have big time lottery players like Kenny Granger, Darmani White, Catron, Nash, Bryant.... the list goes on.

#2 - Draft Class 7
One of those classes that is secretly super strong. While there is only one A rated player (Larry Barry), there is so much talent spread out through this class and is statistically speaking, the best draft that we have done so far.

#1 - Draft Class 13
You guys have no idea the amount of talent at the top in this one. While it does not have the overall strength of draft class 7, the top is easily the most dominating yet. This draft has 6 players with an A+, A or A- rating. The previous best was DC 10 with 4.

I would stay with 82 games to keep things realistic far as awards etc but what you can do is either play one game a week or like dreece house rules does two a month. I go with a game a week and sim in between it gives me time to learn my team.

I remember back in 2k13 before I found these draft classes I was playing on 14 games but the thing is that I would usually go undefeated all the time because I was playing all the games. Just have 82 games just to keep stats in a season realistic

Do you guys have good Sliders for Simulation Stats? Going through an Association, rarely are there guys that even approach 9 assists per game, and as you get deeper in, the leading scorer is only at about 24 PPG or so usually.

Any ideas? Or is this just something we all have to deal with?

Well it depends on what roster set your using and such. I haven't personally tested any set with our draft classes up to our soon to be released DC11 except for our fictional draft class LEAGUE roster. Through 6 simulated seasons our statistical leaders was right on point for what is expected from an NBA set.

Yes we are doing this for 2K15 bro. But we aren't going next gen until the editing options and association is on par with what we have now.

Association started with the normal 2k Roster set, with an updated Roster from probably the end of the season, and your guys Draft Classes.

I seem to always just see the league leaders in PPG drop down to around 24 PPG and Assists are always low, never have I seen a PG average 10 Assists per game in an Association, even in the first year from a guy like Chris Paul or Rajon Rondo. I am probably 8 seasons in, and its pretty much the same every season.

That's your problem right there. Default 2k rosters should not be used under any circumstance! Unless your playing online of course, but since your on OS you can check out some of the rosters in the roster forum including our Sim World roster and LEAGUE fictional roster to get GREAT gameplay and the stats your looking for.
