Man I took on ORL last night. Goodrich got his @ss replaced by Ayo. It was not a fun game for my Jazz. I really should do something with my own dynasty too. I lost all the info I had saved for the rest of last season so I may have to do a sneaky fast forward

Lol yea Ayo on that team would be very problematic. Him spearheading the defense I can imagine led to a lot of steals and fastbreak points lol.

I did the same thing bro. Had my updates written down and can't find them all lol.

I'm hoping that Scottie Horace plays like he has been for Yoshi lol. If he plays like he do for me we going to have a battle on our hands. I got something for him though

Hahahaha yeah that's exactly what happened. And like I've previously said. Orlando already had a dangerous transistion game before Ayo. I got embarrassed big time. Until I put Griffin on Ayo. It slowed them down enough for us to get back into the game.
Horace had a Yoshi game vs us but they had Harper paired up with him. I wanna say Elijah Harper but I can't remember. Anyway he definitely brought his game luckily for me Bishop isn't in the business of being held up by anyone

It's a real pain cause I had some good stuff written up. I'll get back into it tonight.

You plan on being in the lottery again?! Larry Barry is a top 3 pick..

I don't have a 1st rounder this year so I gotta be creative with how I move forward. Since I plan on making the playoffs I will get to shop to shop from the free agent elite to fill my immediate needs.

PS Don't load up on too many alpha males early in your association. That's the main cause of people getting bored and stop playing the game because it gets to easy and its no longer fun to carry on multiple seasons.

I agree, but c'mon how can I not try to bring a Larry back to Boston!! Chambers is only on a one year contract, and if I lose Detroit I'm going to need some more firepower. About to fire things up and play my first regular season game. I just got through doing some cleanup on my dynasty blogs.
Moved my old Mavs/Bobcats one so things were clearer. It's been on hold since DC6 dropped a long time ago. lol I can't abandon that one though, too much backstory in it. Some epic battles happened.

question for sapp and reece... was wondering if you guys have ever considered putting up a 50 greatest of all-time list on the blog for these fictional draft classes dating back to 2k13 (considering 2k13's storylines continue onto 2k14)? or maybe even an all-nba team (1-3) and all-defensive team (1-2) for all-time players for 2k13-2k14?

Actually let me take that back. We have so many players coming, I don't think it would be fair to create that kind of list until we release a few more classes. You guys don't even know what's in store for the future

- Earlier in the year we spoke about the Kentucky Wildcats and their struggles. While they seem to be getting their act together, another prestigious college is struggling big time. The North Carolina Tar Heels are sitting at 8 – 6 and have had to struggle for a couple of those wins. With the conference schedule approaching the future does not look promising for the Tar Heels. That is except for one bright spot… freshman SG Shaun Vegas Wade. Vegas Wade has stepped up in a way that no other Tar Heel has been able to do. Averaging a very impressive 18.2 points and 3.7 rebounds, Vegas Wade has been given the nickname “The White Demon” by fellow ACC player Montego Hennesy (Duke freshman center). When asked what the name means Hennesy said “He’s white and that boy is just evil on the court. He’s the white demon man”. Vegas Wade said he doesn’t know if he will officially adopt the nickname but he is honored that Montego thinks so highly of his game.

-Providence guard Duke Tannyhill is seriously considering quitting the game of basketball to play professional baseball. “I just don’t think that I can be the best player I can be in both sports unless I dedicate all of my time and training to just one of them. I am not saying that baseball is definitely the decision but it is a strong possibility”. Tannyhill says that he will of course complete his senior season here at Providence before making any decisions.

-UCLA PF Kendall Dickerson may have all the talent in the world, but he has been struggling since his incredible season last year where the team made it to the Final Four. Last night against conference foe Washington, Dickerson finished with only 9 points and 4 rebounds. For a player that many think can be a lottery or top five pick, this is unacceptable. Some are saying that his recent inconsistent is due to relationship issues with his fiancé Tisha Artis (one of the best woman college basketball players in the country). We hope that whatever it is, he can pull it together. UCLA did win the game last night against Washington (72 – 68).

January 15, 2023
-Amazing Kansas State freshman guard DeMario Catron has been suspended for two games after pushing Kansas G Daqual Gardner in mid air as he attempted a dunk. The two had been going back and forth and Catron simply lost his cool after a slump where he was 0 – 5. “I don’t know what came over me” Catron said. “I’ll admit that he got in my head a bit and I just got upset. I want to apologize to Daqual Gardner and my team for letting them down”. While Catron is averaging 16.6 points a game, he left the game with only 7 tonight. Gardner, while not pleased, was understanding. “Of course I was upset when it happened and I’ll admit that I wanted to take it there with him after that” Gardner said. “But at the end of the day I am just glad that I wasn’t seriously hurt. It’s unacceptable but these things happen in sports”. Daqual Garnder finished with 14 as Kansas came out on top against the Wildcats (65 – 60).

-Former North Carolina star Kurtis Holden said in an interview a few days ago that Shaun Vegas Wade is “easily the best SG in the country”. While we are sure that Holden was simply trying to support his fellow Tar Heel, a lot of other people in the country were not so understanding. After the news of what Holden said went “viral”, Baylor point guard J.R. Williams tweeted “There is a SG that is half of the best backcourt the country has seen in decades and he damn sure isn’t at UNC”. Obviously Williams is referring to his teammate and good friend Jameel Bethea. While people may not have liked the way that Williams went about it, he does have a point. Bethea is performing better in pretty much every statistical category even while sharing the spotlight with PG J.R. Williams. None the less, Shaun still has time to prove me (and Williams) wrong. Oh, by the way, Bethea had 28 in a win against Oklahoma last night.

-Undersized Wichita State guard Kendrick Walker is having a great season… his team… not so much. Kendrick Walker is a 6’1 shooting guard that has been giving a spark to the Shockers for years. Unfortunately, he just does not have enough talent around him to make this team a contender. At 11 – 10 the Shockers don’t seem to have much post season hopes but if Walker continues to have the type of season that he is having, he could be a lottery pick. Walker is currently averaging 21.8 points per game and is a top thirty prospect on my big board.

-The unsung hero for the second ranked Baylor Bears has been center Bart Witten. Witten showed up big as a freshman all year and in the tournament but somehow got overshadowed by the backcourt duo of Bethea and Williams this year. Quietly though, Witten has averaged 11.4 points and 9.4 rebounds while doing all of the dirty work down low. With that being said, I think that Baylor is really going to see how important this guy is as he will be missing some time with a broken wrist. Witten was injured after coming down while battling for a rebound with Texas freshman center Aaron Payne. “He means more to this team than anyone knows. We can’t wait to have him back” Jameel Bethea said. We’ll see how the Bears get through this stretch without their big man.

-Oklahoma State is still the top team in the country after a 23 point victory against Texas Tech. While many have talked about the more flashy combination of JR Williams, Jameel Bethea and Bart Witten (injured), the Oklahoma State Cowboy’s combination of Stewart Braxton, Rameek Toole and Devon McNair may be more effective. It also doesn’t hurt that the Cowboys have SF Trey Stinson who also has NBA talent. While the Baylor Bears are 21 – 1, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are 22 – 0. Thankfully for the fans, the two are on a collision course to run right into each other in the middle of February. We will see if the Bears can stop the seemingly unstoppable OSU Cowboys.
