While I don't like to necessarily "play my cards" before I'm ready I believe in anyone questioning the decisions I make because everything I do with these classes is thought out and calculated. With that being said, there is an increase in NBA players coming from smaller schools. We have had first rounders from schools like Davidson, Morehead, Rider and Weber State just to name a few off the top of my head. I think that even with the dominance of the big time schools like Kentucky, there is definitely a steady flow of NBA talent running through schools that many casual fans had no clue existed.
When I create players I do not focus on how the chips fall in regards to the tournament so when I go back and look at the players, if a small school has a player or two that will be in one of our classes they will be rewarded as such. Because Fairleigh Dickerson had two potential NBA players on their roster, it would be assumed that they would dominate their conference and have a great season (similar to Wichita who received a one seed as Dreece stated). While seeing a school like that get a 3 seed might look a little odd initially, it is not as unlikely as you may think. Remember many years ago, imagining a team like Gonzaga get a high seed was ridiculous.... until it actually happened. Glad to see people paying attention though
