Thanks man We work hard to make sure you all enjoy the players. You would think it would be hard to keep coming up with different player types class after class, but it's actually quite fun. Tell us who you got...and I like to hear about any guys from the draft classes that torched you too lol.

              February 10, 2020

It’s not over until it’s over

For those of you that follow North Carolina basketball, you probably know the name Mercy Jackson. Unfortunately, if you aren’t a Tar Heel or high school basketball fan, you may not know of him even though he may be one of the best NBA prospects out there. Mercy Jackson has been sidelined for most of the season after what was simply described as “severe health issues”. This morning, the university announced that Jackson has coronary artery disease and would require bypass surgery. Mercy Jackson surprisingly announced shortly after that he was still considering entering the draft next year however. Drafting this guy would ensure that you would have to wait a while to get something from him but he honestly may be worth the wait. We will stayed tuned to see what happens and we wish him the best of luck.

              February 28, 2020

              All (Half) Decade Team

              STARTERS

G Whakil Blackshear/ Temple (Currently the frontrunner to win player of the year)

I know Mr. Blackshear has not even finished one year at Temple but I just couldn’t leave him off of this team. As a freshman, he is lived up to all of the hype and has been nothing less than dominate in just about every contest this year. He has catapulted a average to below average Temple team to National relevance and truly deserves a spot in this starting lineup.

G Adam Cameron/ Syracuse (2014 freshman of the year and Final Four MVP, National Champion)

No one can forget the hype that Adam Cameron brought to Syracuse. He is the only player on this list that only played one year (unless Blackshear enters the draft this year) and it’s not hard to see why. His stat line of 16.2 ppg – 5.0 rpg – 6.8 apg – 2.1 spg - 1.2 bpg on a National Championship team justifies his presence on this list.

F Dylan Turner/ Washington (Multiple First Team All American Honors, 2017 National Player of the Year)

Dylan Turner just continues to dominate. He took on the role of the “offensive specialist” as a freshman on a team with defensive beast Gregory Livingston, but once Livingston was gone, he became that team’s everything. After winning player of the year last year, it looks like he will finish in the top five at worst this year.

F Kurtis Holden/ North Carolina (2014 Player of the Year, Multiple First Team All American Honors)

One of the nicest guys off the court is a terror in the paint. Holden played was a four year starter at North Carolina that shared the spotlight for his first three years. As a senior however, he exceeded expectations and won the player of the year award over the before mentioned Adam Cameron. When Holden left, so did the Tar Heels yearly dominance.

C Ray Ray Francis/ Stanford (2015 Player of the Year, Multiple First Team All American Honors)

Ray Ray Francis brought a skill set to the court that teams simply did not know how to defend. Although he wasn’t known much for his defense, Francis is one of the most versatile scorers to ever grace the NCAA. He scored in the paint with ease and scored for 25 feet out just as easily. One can truly say that the best way to guard this guy is to “pray that he misses”.

              RESERVES

F Kareem Bishop/ Cincinnati (2014 All Freshman Team, 2015 All American National Player of the Year Runner Up)

F Gregory Livingston/ Washington (2014 and 2015 Defensive Player of the Year, Multiple First Team All American Honors)

G Russell Lawson/ Georgia Tech (Led Nation in scoring in 2016 and 2017, Multiple First Team All American Honors)

F Dion Tinsley/ Maryland (2016 Player of the Year)

G Blake Cassell/ Marquette (2017 Defensive Player of the year, Top five in assists and steals in both 2016 and 2017)

Gonna take OSU winning it all.

Skipping the IRL draft class and going straight to Draft Class 1 for a 30-team association w/ Rondo's roster. Gonna be tough making a 1st pick with likely the Bucks, probably gonna go with Holden, but there a team that actually has some pretty good young players at each position.

I was gonna use the Bucks also but just like you said they have some pretty good young players in game. Rondo's file is sick! I'm a visual misfit lol...sneakers and gear top notch. Still in debate who I should use.

I’m one of the ones that looks but doesn’t talk much on here. Lol
But I did want to say thank you for all the work that makes the game that much more fun!

I have always been one that loves to manage a team, sometimes finding myself spending way more time managing then playing. I have already played a couple of associations with your files and spent way too many late nights figuring out how to get that player I wanted in the next draft. (Ray Ray baby!!). These Draft classes make things way more interesting and fun!

Anyways, you mentioned that you like others to share their stories, so here goes.
I’m a Mavs fan. Dirk is the man and I get goosebumps every time I watch highlights of 2011!
So I started an association with the Mavs and decided to go with dc version 1. I normally sim the regular season and play the playoffs. Like I said I love the offseason stuff and don’t have time or the patience to play through seasons as well. I did play every game of an 82 game season last year, just to say I did. But never again.

Started the 2013 season off pretty slow with one of the worst records. They bounced back in the middle of the year and at one point were in first in the division. They then faltered down the stretch and barely made the playoffs in the eighth spot with a .500 record. Had to face Thunder in first round. And needless to say it was dire to start with, but then lost Monta for 4-6 weeks so was pretty much hopeless. At least I lost to the eventual NBA champions. Lol

Now to the offseason and to see what gem I can try to find in the middle of the draft (coming in eighth sucks). And where to spend that chunk of change that I will have with Dirk taking a paycut. I need to get him one more before he rides off into the sunset.

Thanks for chiming in buddy. You like do alot of simming and enjoy the offseason stuff so I'm give you a quick tip. Don't fall for the trap of thinking you in a bad spot with around 15-20th pick. The cpu still makes some crazy decisions so you might get that player you want a lil cheaper.

And what you know about Ray Ray

You guys know the drill. Pick your final four and a winner for your opportunity to have your own player featured in one of the future drafts. Pick quick though cause I'm going to be posting the final four tomorrow. Told you guys we were playing around this draft class. Good luck!
                            Oregon, Memphis, Ohio State, Temple.

With the Temple to take it out, im gonna put some early faith in Blackshear, Dude really intrigues me

Dreece reminded me that I need to play fair and give you guys some info so that you can make decisions on who you want to pick for your final four lol. So I've prepared season stats, All American teams, award winners and a big board for you guys. Feel free to change your mind on your final four selections if you want. And sorry Blindside... looks like Blackshear won't be leaving for Draft Class 5.... maybe Draft Class 6
