For your first question about editing Antonio's role...it's your association do as you please but yea man thats why I'm just gonna leave roles off. That same thing happens to the cpu teams also so the players start to get outta control lol. Damn 2K! And may I ask who your are targeting? no spoilers needed because we just talking players not ratings.

There was a few guys that were doing fictional classes for ps3 but im not quite sure if they are still doing them. A used XBOX and a copy of 2K14 will make all your association dreams come true bro...I'm just saying....

I do like the idea of having player roles a ton. But there are other things that need to be implemented for it to be successful. Like I've a 38 year old Kenyon Martin in the past who's still demanding to be a starter. It's just wack!


Dejuan Frazier is the guy I really want. But thinking realistically AJ Jones & Travis Madison are gonna be where I'm looking. Thing is I have Dion Tinsley entering his second year and Byron Augustin at 6th man so I really need to look at my roster and figure out where I'm headed next. I think I'm more in need of a 2 guard to groom to take over for Derozan at some point

Quick question about the different versions. In your first post, you guys stated V1 Cameron may hit 90 overall, but V2 he may only go up a couple points. What's V3? Is V1 the highest potential, V2 middle, and V3 lowest potential?

EDIT: Ah nevermind, I think I get it. It gives the draft class variability. One guy may have a higher potential in one version, but he may not progress at all in another. Am I correct?

You are correct. 3 different versions so even if you are say a Bucks fan only and you already used V1 then just load up V2 and you have a brand new draft experience. Stay on the same version for each individual association tho

Man you never know how the computerized GM gonna be thinking come draft day...keep your options open and scout,scout,scout lol. But realistically your gonna want to add some role player types to your squad so you won't stunt the growth of your already established players. PLEASE resist the urge to overstock or draft at the same position.

I keep 15 players on my squad when I run association so you will want to get some of those low 60 something rated players that will accept 2 mins here and there. Plus if you play with injuries on and I don't know how people turn injuries off but thats another subject lol..your specialist type of guys impact can really be felt.

If you looking for a late 1st round pick I would personally avoid trying to get a SG. Our SG's most likely gonna have a good run in the middle of the 1st. If you looked at the scouting report Dejuan Frazier dropped in my mock draft...right now he doesn't impress me that much bro, but basketball is all about potential so if you feel like he may be your guy reach up a couple picks and nab him! I think he will be available when your drafting tho.

And yes a 38 year old K-Mart demanding anything is wack lol. Turn em off and save yourself one headache.

It's cool now you got that straight you can get back to drafting your next championship squad! And Sapp changes it on me too I don't know what version the original file is lol. All I know is V2 is what I'm running with when I start my Sim-World association.

You know I always have to speak on a class before we move on to the next. Be careful with this class as the three versions are dramatically different from one another. I didn't even realize it myself until I was looking at my notes for the different versions. Dreece always says this but scout, scout scout. If you don't I can almost guarantee you that you will end up with a bust eventually. If you reallyreally enjoy playing this game as if it is the real NBA and you are a real GM take the advice that Ronyell has given on these classes in the past "Do NOT look at potential". Even after you draft a guy just play it out and see what happens. By doing this you will really want to put a ton of time and effort in to the draft process and I really do think you can have the most realistic experience that way.

By the way.... who got the closest to picking the final four and the winner. Was it blindside?

I couldn't agree more on the potential either, i got caught with that the first couple years. Thank god my file corrupted. I've got a much better head about it this time round.

Man that's beautiful...it's like watching all your kids out there having a ball lol. Wydell Jeter, Metrick Mcgee, Byron Augustin all performing well during a NBA matchup..can't ask for more than that! Ay Sapp guess we can put to rest the question of are the classes compatible with any roster I know for a FACT that a couple of our regular posters use a couple different roster sets from the site...guess we doing something right lol.
