Today has basically been a Clean Up day on the Roster. Meaning that I am going thru each team and checking things over to see if I have missed anything. I have found some mistakes and am fixing them. Hope to make it thru all the teams Tonight and then get back to Working on the Remaining teams tomorrow.

NG has been a COMPLETE FLOP as far as 2k14. I am HOPING they(2k) Realize they NEED to get back on Track for TRUE Basketball instead of all these FLASHY Modes and all of this VC stuff. If NOT i think Current Gen will be the LAST Console I Own. I would have to say the HIGHER Ups, have to see the NEED for change in their QUALITY CONTROL guys. It is a shame a game shipped with SO MANY Flaws. Enough of my Rant, back to Editing. LOL

Well, I wouldn't say a complete flop (the graphics and gameplay are great, and my career, though corny at times, is still fun to play) I agree the value of the game is not 60 dollars. I haven't touched MyGm or MyTeam yet, and have been aching for an association (which I will start as soon as these rosters are ready. VC is annoying, especially in my career. outside of the mode, I have 3300 vc, yet none of that transfers into the mode, as I Have a totally new vc bank for it. There are issues. I hope they bring back an association esque mode, and not MyGM. But that will never happen. Its not the most monetarily logical option for them, and since there is no competition (Live is NOT competition, its a joke) anyone who wants a game for the NBA will have to settle, that is unless we can keep great rosters and draft classes and such, like these, running on 2k14 current gen.

I have to disagree. 2k14 for NG is a flop. They still have a chance to patch things up but knowing 2k, it will take forever.

Once your roster drops, NG is bye bye… finish, finito, gone, done, stick a fork in'em lmfaooo !!!

I finally tested the roster. INCREDIBLE. I love the tendencies. The CPU controlled Knicks were gunning them from behind the arc. JR Smith was a loose cannon. The bad thing is that I wasn't used to the game (since I've been on NG since release) so I kept leaving the shooters open. There are a lot more things I liked. The smart AI. The CPU defense. The sliders are perfect. No tweaks needed. I had the Cavs but I'm not used to their style of play so I was down big until the 4th. We made a little run and lost by like 15 lol. I played on 12min qt and the score was good. Not too high. I think it was 110 to 95 something like that.

I look forward to playing some more. And also to the official release w the trades.

I hope some1 takes this roster and hex edits colors and makes a shoe file. That would be the Ultimate combo.

Just read that Vlad has announced that REDITOR MC compatiable for NBA 2K14 is scheduled to be released next week, December 10th. I will of course be getting it along with the appropriate tabs needed to edit everything that has to do with Association mode. With that being said it's great news for our roster set because now I can go in and take out all the generic coaches and staff members and replace them with the actual coaching staffs for all the teams. So once the roster set is finalized and ready for the initial release those of you who are hardcore association members can message me and I will do my best working around my varsity team practice and game schedule to email you the association file that will start from the beginning of the season with opening night rosters.

Hopefully this puts a smile on many faces as I know you have all been waiting paitently for the release of Trifecta 2K14. Trust me guys, its worth the wait and to all the testers who are working along side Straight and vtcrb, you are much a part of the great gameplay that our roster set is able to bring to everyone with all the hours you guys commit to testing and the feedback.

I've always loved your work Tomba. I honestly think you got it wrong this time.

There are a few things that suggest 2K Sports doesn't really care for banning Roster modders. In fact, they are hiring them! (Leftos). If they want to stop anyone, it's the people who create hacked MyPlayers that completely break the online experience.

Sure, perhaps the use of abandoned cyberfaces is not ideal for 2K, that's why we got black arms; but editing team colors, arena names, coaches names? Harmless. In fact, positive, since it makes their game more enjoyable.

Ninja edit: Also, I think the whole cloud save thing might be more in line with Virtual Currency than any other thing, but that is just an assumption.

Latest Tweaked Roster (Post Cleanup) and Sliders from Page 2 (Dec. 10th)

Great Game even though New York came up short. The Bulls held the lead pretty much all the way through as the Knicks played catch up. Iman Shumpert caught fire late, but Carmelo was double teamed much of the game and the 3PT shot was off. Amare and Felton contributed almost nothing as the Knicks fell flat.


The Good:
-Shots selection was amazing. CPU didn't take but maybe 1 or 2 bad shots late in shot clock. With that exception no standing around until the last seconds on the shot clock.
-The game felt smooth, sometimes a bit fast, but that's to be expected when teams start to go on runs. From stats you can see not much in fast break which is GREAT, as both of these teams are half-court teams.
-Teams played as themselves (real life counter-parts). The bulls played tight D and went to C. Boozer in low post and D. Rose played his game driving to the basket. Boozer was great shooting from mid-range (face-up and back to basket). Knicks were 3PT shooters out of low post and swing passes. Melo was a black hole..LOL


-The Bad:
Not much I can say. Aside from a few 2K hick-ups, there's nothing I did see aside from the 2 weird shot possessions I spoke of earlier.

Boston Can't hold Lead in this one. By end of the 3rd QTR, the Celtics were up by 13 on their home court and managed to just score 16 PTS the rest of the way. They held the Clippers to 19 and 16 in each the 2nd and 3rd Qtrs to build the lead, but gave up 36 in the 4th to the LA Clippers. With 38 seconds left in the game Boston was up by 1, but gave up a wide open 3PT FG to Chris Paul and missed on the other end with 24.3 seconds left on an ill-advised 3PTA early in shot clock making the game a FT shooting contest on the other end. Chris Paul and J.J Redick knocked down a few from the stripe and the game was over.


Inside the Game:
With the Celtics struggling from the field Rajon Rondo began to shoot and shoot often. After scoring 1 basket in the 1st QTR and being in foul trouble, he returned to the game mid way through the 2nd QTR and put up 15PTS. He came out the 2nd half shooting and scored 10PTS in the 3RD before picking up his 5th foul at the end of the 4th. No one else picked up the slack and the Celtics fell flat.

Hex editing and spreadsheet editing are ruining it for us on next gen

Like we talked before IF 2k put the hidden and correct things in the game NO need for Hex Editing. And Hex Editing had NO PART in the Next Gen disaster that includes, Screwed up Game Modes, Roster Updates that HAD to be pulled due to Glitches.
