If you post them on PS3 that would be nice, and yep the ones on the front page are always the most up-to-date ones.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
The Future.. very nice slider set man.. I tried to abuse LA with Yao and ended up 20/10 before getting subbed out. I'm now mid way 2nd quarter but I haven't implemented your rebounding sliders yet.
What about the strength? And it's weird.. whenever I watch CPU vs CPU there are a lot of fouls but on Hum/CPU it's a different story. I try to mimick their fast break (which is hold turbo and fish for fouls just like what CPU vs. CPU does) but end up getting no call.
We need more turnovers me thinks?Comment

As far as turnovers, what are your numbers like?Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Ok finished a game and another half of one.
Lakers vs Boston (me) Won by 25...
I'll start with the cons:
I shot 56% ugh too high...
I had too many steals 16..felt like the computer would pass it to me at times
Computer shot under 38% (good in a way but they were missing a lot of easy baskets..made me feel like they were handicap)
Turnovers were too high for the computer as explained in the steals
ProsWith this set)
Great if even better flow to the game (brings out the animations to its fullest)
The computer shot a good percentage from downtown..Realistic i should add
Opinions
I think user steals have to go down a good amount. Computer steals on the other hand need to go up. I only had 4 or 5 turnovers in a 48 minute game! I felt the computer missed too many 'easy' shot. Perhaps close range should go up?? I'm not sure how you guys faired so let me know.
Perhaps play passing lanes for use should be moved down to cut back on steals??"Don't Hate the Playa, Hate the Game!"Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
I just started my Spurs association with these sliders and there pretty good.I lost the first game agains the Kings by double figures,I just couldn't seem to stop there fastbreak. And they couldn't miss a shot,I mean Brad Miller and Mikki Moore knocked down contested jumpers, and Quincy Douby was 3/4 from downtown....
The second game played the same, except the Thunder couldn't knock down the contested jumpers.Though Kevin Durant did drop thirty on me,but he had no help.I was able to beat them 112-92.
I really like these sliders and will continue to use them. The only thing I changed was drop the "play the passing lanes" from 65 to 25.I still seen steals and turnovers but not in a bunch when the slider was at 65.Other then that everything else played very will. These sliders were challenging and fun at the same time.I never felt that the game was dominated but me or the AI.Even in the first game,I was forcing things trying to make stuff happen and was making mistakes.I play the Heat next ill post the stats and feedback that game.
By the way, lowering both the Offensive and Defensive sliders to zero was brilliant. It really felt good getting position and going up and grabing the board. And by putting the hands at zero also addded a different dimension to the game,I seen tip rebounds, were two players would go for the rebound and the ball would tip of both there hands, and other players would attempt to get the board..Good Stuff.....Thanks Future, keep up the good work.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Overall, these played pretty good. Seemed better than others that I have tried. There were a few issues though.
-At times, scoring in the paint (mainly CPU) just seemed unstopable. Rasho Nesterovic seemed like an allstar, he was posting up people like he was Tim Duncan. Blocking did seem fine, so dont increase that make it harder to score.
-I also missed an alarming amount of open 2's and 3's. Granted, I did use the 6ers who cant shoot, but Andre Miller missed 4 open 3s, Thad Young missed 5 open 3's, and Iguodala missed 4 open 3's. I would not put the shooting problem on the sliders as it could have been a combo of a bad game and a poor shooting team.
-CPU was too successful at on ball steals, usually knocking the ball out of my hands on the first attempt countless times. This seemed to be one of the biggest problems, it interrupted the flow of the game at times.
-Hands might need to be slightly increased. Sometimes there were some very easy drops that resulted in easy turnovers.
-CPU PG gets way too many assists, and nobody else seemed to get more that 1-2 assists.Comment

Re: the_future420's Simulation All-Star Sliders
Getting ready to play another game; will post results after. I crunched some numbers on the steal and turnover averages for the six games I've played so far and it turned out like this:
STEALS
User: 10.5
Cpu: 8.6
League avg: 7.2, with a high of 9.1 and a low of 5.5. So they're high, but not ridiculous.
TURNOVERS
User: 11.6
Cpu: 13.5
League avg: 14.1, high of 16, low of 11. So these are right on, maybe a little low for the user if you play careful ball.
So I don't know, if you go crazy lowering the steals, you might also lower the turnovers, which is counter-productive. But you may need a larger sample of games to better gauge it. One thing, though, I played a game of slow tempo, controlled offense against Detroit--a good defensive team--and they only had 3 steals the whole game. So you can definitely manage it on the offensive side. But sometimes on defense I guess it can be expoited. It's not that bad, though. I'm gonna keep testing these out.Comment
