Lower the quickness to 30. It feels so much more realistic.

These new tweaks are amazing. Thanks Pared. Ive played 5 games since I applied the tweaks. For the first time since Ive owned 2K10, 2 of the games went into overtime. I lost the first OT game by 3 and won the second one by 9. With these sliders my record is 3-2. I don't know going into a game whether I'll win or loose. I was beating up on the CPU before I applied the tweaks. Thanks for making the game challenging to play.

Made a few tweaks on the sliders, but this is a good baseline to start with. My main tweaks were around the CPU tendencies referencing from other sliders in this forum as well.

I have a question though, how do you lower the amount of shots taken on both sides, user and cpu? I was thinking of lowering game speed for this.

Wouldn't that increase the shots per game since the clock runs slower and games take longer as a result?

Just to understand what you were seeing that called for change

Turnovers+loose balls, increasing challenge on an easier difficulty.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying them. The quickness edit is a good one and I may include that in the first post. I need more time to test it myself (the speed drop seems to drastic with the fatigue later on in the game) but a drop is certainly welcome as it does reduce sliding a bit.

I'm not seeing the backdoor cuts and alley's post patch enough to warrant the drop, personally. I've rarely seen backdoor cuts and I've seen at most, 2 alleys in one game and that was against Orlando. 12 mins qtrs. as well.

On, it's lowered via sliders.

Can't go too low otherwise stars aren't as effective in the 4th.

A couple questions for you guys...Pared in particular

1) Best quarter length with these sliders? 12min? 10min?

2) Also, what exactly are the main fixes these sliders provide (all im looking for are realistic FG%, ppg, apg, spg, just purely statistics...im not looking for gameplay fixes...are these sliders for me)?

Pared quick question(s)...

I had been using the pre-patch tweaks, today I upgraded to the post patch tweaks, but my question is simple... isn't the CPU defense too good now?

I just played my sixth association game and got blown out by 36 by the Pistons. Their stats look great, but I couldn't catch a break to shoot a "good looking" jumper. All I got were tough jumpers, contested threes, etc...

What do you think, just want to hear your opinion.

Not really with these sliders I blew out the knicks with the 76ers by 25 and the next game i lost by 10..

I held the hornets to 44% shooting and won 96-84 on 11 min, pro with these sliders so great job on them pared.......

this may sound blasphemous, and i dont post here much...but i just wanted to put a reccomendation out there for guys having difficulties getting good looks and hitting jumpshots....i raised my shooting to 51, mid range and three point...with Pareds sliders i liked alot about the game post patch, i just couldnt hit a jumper to save my life. and i felt like i was getting decent looks... after a few games i found myself forcing the ball inside because i was scared to shoot, lol.

i also brought the cpu shooting up to 50 for both mid and threes. im a pretty good defender in the 2k series and between my defense and my missed jumpers, i was seein shooting percentages of 30-38 percent for both me and the cpu. so with these bumps, as well as reducing cpu on ball defense to 75 im gettin better games. shooting between 43-48 percent and holdin the cpu to around the same.

just have gotten so much help from these forums and wanted to contribute something.
